okay, well i got slightly rear ended and I am getting my bumper changed. I have an 06 but I want it painted like the 07's. Is the whole bumper painted? My jeep is black, but on the silver 07's if you look cosely they leave some black showing behind the plastic trim that sticks out around the exhaust. Somebody please explain, I'll try to get a pic. I am just so confused because on some 07's the whole thing is painted and on others they leave a little black showing.

Just get it painted the way YOU want it. If you ask me, I'd go with the monochromatic way. Why have any black if your rig is silver?
