Anyone know of a front plate option that I can buy/get without having to drill holes in the front bumper? Hopefully something temporary or w/e

Chicago/IL requires them :( and I dont want another ticket on the wifey car, they are to expensive when they start adding them up with what other fines they pulled her over for .. lol.

Thanks!

Jon

not a bad mod. i had it, sold it as i didnt like that the track didnt hide underneath the bumpers lip. it doesnt stick out really at all, but id prefer the track flush or deeper. however theres only one kind out there i believe so id suggest taking a dremel and file the end flaps down where the plate meets the bumper upon flipping up. it will let you push back the track a few mm's in so its not sticking out that much.

you can do this in 20-30 minutes. but you will need to drill two dime size (give or take) holes into the upper portion of your bumper (dont worry nobody can see it, its hidden) to attach rubber screws/fasteners. (2 holes)

Hey guys i just caught an idea!!! What if u put a big piece of magnet on the inside of the bumper and then mold a piece onto the back of the plate with a piece of silk or something to prevent scratxhing when moved?? What do ya think??

I used 3 suction cups attached to the back of the factory plate mount. Got them from Home Depot and works great.
