Did you guys get an extended warranty with the SRT8? I have never bought one before, and it may just be nerves from reading about the transmissions, brakes, tires, etc (is the internet not great?) but all of a sudden this does not seem unreasonable...

Does Jeep offer an extended factory warranty? Is it expensive? Anybody buy it and try and use it?

I have bought warranties in the past. It all depends on whether or not you're going to keep the vehicle past the 3/36 mark. Myself, I typically don't. Once I get my SRT8, that will probably change. So once I get close to the 3/36, I will decide then. If I am going to keep it, you bet, I will be buying the warranty with the most coverage for the best length of time & a $0 deductible.

One drawback to waiting until you are closer to the 3/36 mark is the price of the warranty typically increases. But even if the warranty is a bit pricey, with the cost of parts these days, 1 claim and it will pay for itself.

I got the 8/85 bumper to bumper for $1800.00 but just make sure they negotiate as they will try to rip you off on them.
