So i was late to work this morning, woke up at 8 (thanks to the newborn who kept me up all night) , was supposed to be here at 8, normally a 25 min drive in itself, made it to work by 8:20. on the way in, i pull up to a light, and just cuz i'm late as soon as it turns green i jump on it a bit. pull up to the next light and i see this blue chally r/t pull behind me, didnt think much of it. light turns green, i jump on it again, but then have to slow down to 30mph for some road construction. he pulls from behind me and pulls a head just a bit, so i figure after this construction i'm clear for 5 miles so i'll jump on it, as soon as we clear we both hit it, and i pull on him about 2 cars until i hit 120, then he starts creepin up and at 140 we're dead even, at that point we both let off. Ya i know our rigs kinda suck at high speed. time for a new CAM i think.... sooo... who here as installed their own cam??

With the right COMBO you'll move pretty well . I can tell you this , I absolutely walked a 2010 Camaro SS and trust me it was ugly for him .

yeah i'm definitely not happy about it, but hell as my daily driver and the kid hauler i cant complain too much. I'm think a cam after new years, and then a single turbo in a year or so and i'll be satisfied. altho if someone would like to develop a drop in 6 speed tranny for our rigs FEEL FREE!!! i'll buy 1!

Ya, I wouldb't get to bent out of shape, very well could have been modded. Plus they having more gearing for the top end... but as you said, no fear.... you'll kill him everytime off the light.

My brother-in-law sold his charger for a new 5.7 challenger. With the money he saved not buying the srt8 version, he is using on mods.

Don't fret,those things have 370+hp and 398+ lb-ft of torque depending on if it was auto or stick.With it being about 1000 lbs lighter than us,I would totally expect it to hang with and pull a Jeep on the top end.

I would not be concerned nobody is racing anyone to 140 mph - at any sane speed you will blast that R/T. Be careful past that unless you want the kid to be dad-free for life. Invest in life insurance for the baby to have a future instead of mods.
