I am new to the forum and was wondering what kind of hp gains i can expect from the following mods. I just got a new srt8 jeep that the owner of a dealership was holding onto that i was able to "steal" from him. But he had the mopar corsa exhaust put on it and im thinking of adding a mopar intake and a 180 thermostat. what can i expect? The intake is probably good for about 10hp the thermostat won't give any but helps everything run cooler witch helps with not losing any from heat. You may want to wait on the thermostat till you get a predator or other tuner so you can change the fan settings for it other wise you will still be running the the stock fan temp settings with a colder thermostat and there is really no point

My gain from the CAI was 7 hp and the rest of the 26 hp was from the CMR DYNO TUNE. Bone stock i put out 341 hp on a AW DYNOJET. 1ST thing to get is a oil catch can.

got the catch can! as i read that is a must! how about the exhaust did that add anything?

Probably not, maybe a few at best most are doing that just for the sound. Not a good money to hp ratio but you didn't have to pay for it so your good

I agree on the exhaust as 1200 buxs lots of money to make noise lol.
