There has been confirmation of 2 SRT8's in the up coming film. A charger SRT8 with Decepticon symbols was spotted being filmed beside Megatron. Another Decepticon (SUV) was under tarps on the same day of filming. This was down in florida when they launched the Shuttle. Who by the way is Astrotrain. First trailer is out this weekend during Narina! Who's laughing now.

If Shia le-butt just sat on his ass the entire movie it would be better than transfomrers 2. Mike Bay has disgraced the series with his one-size-fits-all action movies; no plot, no dialoge, nothing, just a bunch of CGI robots shooting at each other.

I'm thrilled to hear about a jeep and an SRT in the movie; skeptical it would be the release of the 2012 WK2 though, GM would never allow it as a centerpiece to the film.

*I'd like to hear more than 3 poorly worded lines of dialoge on the Decepticon side this time. This has been my critisim of both the first and the second movie, Starscream, Megatron, and Soudwave were some of my favorite characters, introducing their plight builds irony, allows for humility, and amplifies the struggle between both sides. To this date Megatron is nothing but a resurected gray version of robot Shredder from TMNT with the personality of a coffee maker. He doesn't even turn into a gun for christ sake. Starscream isn't a cowardly fool bumbling for control of the Decepticons, he's just an airplane that you see maybe once or twice. Soundwave isn't the straight-man, funny-talking, oddly-ingenous character we once knew him as...he's a broken sattelite that looks at things... good job soundwave, way to make a difference.

*Devestator was a huge letdown, took him the entire movie to show up and the only thing he did was struggle to climb up a pyramid before he was dead. So much for "collect all 5".. umm. why bother if he's a useless vaccum cleaner.

*You're trying to tell a huge epic saga between good and evil that has lasted millions of years... in a 90 minute movie, absolutely ridiculous... it needs to be 4 hour movies like Lord of the Rings trilogy.

*The first movie had decent situational comedy, but still there was no comic relief, no character always getting the short end of the stick for the audience to identify with. The second movie had neither, no situational comedy, and no character. It felt like the 1st-3rd star wars movies, utterly boring, just a bunch of unhappy BORING people on both sides of the struggle fighting each other with glowing sticks.

*I could completely do without the side-plot of the US soldiers, it adds absolutely nothing to the story. Transformers is about transformers, not about Saving private ryan. Its a waste of film to even add them in there; the idea that a bunch of soldiers out of Afghanistan with M16's makes one hill of beans difference is almost amusing its so stupid.

*The Autobots live in the Southwest desert in a space-ship that crashed, END OF STORY, they didn't come to earth as flaming meatballs, and they didnt' 'decide' what to transform into, they were MADE that way by a sentient computer program/scanner from their mothership. If they could tranform into whatever they wanted to, why not just transform into the Friggin Chrysler building and sit on top of megatron.

I need to be a writer/director in hollywood I'd show all those idiots how its done.

I have to agree with Winston. The good news is Bay has admitted to the 2nd movie being ****. He blames it on the studio forcing him to make a movie for a release date that he couldn't meet. He also had to film part 2 in 5 weeks vs the 9 it was suppost to be shot in due to the strike. But because part 2 was so ****ty, he said he would only make one more (vs the 5 he signed on for) if the studio stayed the hell away from him, and let him make the movie his way. With a budget of 300 million, and a new 3-D camera that was designed for Bay, from the same guy who built the cameras for Avatar, it might just work. It's supposed to be very dark, and a whole different type of movie. Megatron is not the main bad boy, (and a truck from the Road Warrior mind you) Shockwave is. So maybe without the racist autobots, Megan Fox, and time issues, he has a chance to redeem himself.

The autobots were only racist because they were injected by a white director into a mainstream movie, in a pathetic attempt to maintain an overtone of black sympathy in every facet of our American culture.

Hip-hop stereotypes are used consntantly in all forms of media. You just have to be the correct color, or correct class of people, in order to use them. In other words. NO WHITES ALLOWED. :rolleyes:
