Just listened to Etown's recording for Sunday's Muscle car showdown drag racing and I noticed that there was a statement that 'all vehicles must be muffled and should be no louder than 90db'.
After hearing the touring Borla was 89db (stock is 84) and the S type is 98 (way beyond the 90db), does anyone know just how strict Etown is in enforcing the db rule ? I know the neighbors have been pressuring them more and more on noise, but 98db is quite a few times louder than 90db. I was just wondering if they did it subjectively or with sound measuring equipment.
I have been in through tech inspection many times over the years at Etown and never noticed any equipment; I just wanted to know if this was something new anyone heard about.
thanks in advance for any info,
Dave
