Rob didnt get to make it to Atco, but this was a new PB for him before his rear crapped out.
Today has been a long day. I left for the dyno at 9:00AM. Johan was on his way there so we did a pull with the email tune. First pull was 521rwhp. I thought that's not too bad for an email tune. Johan got there and looked at the sheet. We didn't log the pull but from just looking at the sheet Johan nailed WOT on the next pull. We ended up with 529rwhp. I'm very happy with those numbers on a new engine with less than 50 miles on it. For reference, my 6.1 put down 417rwhp on that same dyno. Another car was tuned while I waited for my wife to bring me nitrous bottles. Unfortunately, my bottle heater took a dump and we couldn't get the pressure high enough. We started on pull but the a/f was so fat Johan just let out of it. I didn't get a HP number, but torque showed 850rwt.
Johan stayed to work on the idle. Its a big cam so that was a challenge. When he was done I headed to the track to make some shakedown passes. I made two pass on motor. I ran 11.8's @ 117. I think with some shorter tires it would have easily went 11.5's or 11.6's. My tires are 29'' tall with the 3.06 gears. On the next pass, I decided to spray it.

The car left so hard it ripped the rear view mirror off. It is shattered in the back of m y car now. The sunroof cover slid open. This thing was a beast out of the hole. It feel good through first and second. It hit the rev limiter on the top of second. The car nosed over and finally shifted. I was also running very low bottle pressure. I usually run 1100psi and I had 950psi for this pass. A/F was 10.0.

I didn't want to take any chances on making anymore passes. The track wasn't hooking as well so I packed it up. I know there's a lot more left in. I still haven't used the big jets.
