Finally got a chance to take some pics of my new Jeep Track Rated badges from BT! They're SO much better than the stickers. I put mine in the traditional place. These badges are PERFECT for the GC SRT8. Now you gotta get these things in the Mopar catalogue. Huge thanks to my baby Heidi, love ya woman!!!

The only concern is with winter coming I have to be careful of the phosphate soap touchless car washes use coming into contact with the anodized badges. I'll probably tape them off each time I take it through and seeing as I read the instructions I plan to use either mineral oil or WD40 as necessary to keep them nice.

This was a great group buy!!!

The badge looks so good on your BB Cherokee! They should come standard with all the Cherokees in the first place. Congrats to BT for another fine product. Rambit, you missed a spot on your jeep and I see some autumn leaves that need to be cleaned off your driveway, lol!

Damn, I tossed the instructions in the garbage. What do I need to know before I was the jeep Bernie?

Not much to know Fred other than anodized parts don't do well with soap containing phosphates and the touchless car washes use that. It tends to make them fade. When they dull just use a little WD40 or mineral oil on a rag. No wax either BTW.

Looks good Bernie! Bet you get some double takes at stop lights when they see the badges. ;)

So a little oil before and after the wash and I should be good?

Well I had the stickers on there for 2 1/2 years, but I'm not much for doing the "hey look at me thing", so I can't really say if they get noticed. I'm sure most people are clueless anyway.

I meant more from Jeep owners that are used to seeing Trail Rated. Going huh? ;) I'm more of a stealth guy myself. Just the new badge on back is the only thing different than stock SRT trim, externally.
