: 11,009 miles, first SES light

The other day while driving into town my Jeep never reached operating temperature, and threw a SES light. Now it won't reach operating temp at all. It gets warm, over 185, but oil stays below 200, and keeps the SES light on. Didn't seem to affect drivability at all. However, it messed with the remote start. I would remote start, then unlock, and as soon as I physically opened the door, it'd die. Weird.

So I dropped it off to get a new T-stat under warranty, and got a Dodge Caliber for a rental. First CVT car I've driven. That is one f-ed up drivetrain let me tell you. It's weird to rev it out almost like normal until about 40mph, then it hits 6,000rpm, and literally sits there until I slowed at 80. I like to feel cars rev out the gears, I hated it. Not to mention it was slow.

That's my story, sorry if it wasn't better. Pauly and I can get in another flaming match if it'll help. First problem at 11,009 miles, not too good. Oh, and my Jeep dealer still won't replace any of my chrome moldings that are completely fvcked up, and have been since it had 1,000 miles on it. "It happens to all of them." Weird, my Mom's 2006 has 85,000 miles and her chrome moldings look new.
