As stated in the title, Does anyone have the carb sticker that came with your K&N CAI? I was living in Texas at the time that I installed mine and I'm now living in California and they require the Carb sticker to be on the aftermarket part in order to pass emissions.
Thanks in advance!

I called k&n and they said they send you 1 only after you take a pic of your car with it on and you being so close to them they may want you to bring the jeep to there bussiness.

Does K&N provide a sticker with their filtration elements?.. or does the CAI device and filter element together need to be CARB certified?

The whole CAI EXCEPT THE FILTER needs the CARB STICKER.

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT! .. LOL
Jim ... he has a BWoody, the chances K&N (competitor) will give him a CARB Certification label without buying the whole enchilada is very slim. You think?

They said they need a pic of the K&N CAI installed on your jeep then they would send you a sticker when there approved. Its been 6 months since i called K& N and at that time they wernt approved as of yet for the jeep.

Is there any CAI that is currently CARB certified other than the stocker? ... Mopar Performance, AEM, AFE, SLP, AIRAID, Volant, BWoody?
If not, the state of California has the OP by the balls... welcome to our left brain democratic state.

If you don't have access to a stock CAI... there's a timely thread here, someone is parting out a 2009 SRT.
I would make an offer for the stock CAI, install it temporarily and get your SRT inspected so you can get through your DMV inspection.
Good luck.

what about a carb sticker from a diff model but it says K&N has some code on it. do they REALLY check and do THEY KNOW none have it.
i have the sticker in my XJ. it came with the intake when i bought it about the Y2000 so I put it under the hood. Its a foil kind of thing but it might lift off.
if it comes off in one piece one of you can have it ? if its not too risky.
