If your are not using your Jeep for a few weeks (more that 21 days) Dodge suggest that we remove fuse numer 27 in the engine comp also unplugging the neg from the battery. I am storing mine for the winter I intend on just putting a battery tender on it.

Anyone ever took that fuse off?

i have a battery tender on my 07 wk. I have never touched any fuse 27. i dont use it much in the winter either 07 with 9K. I alos have the original battery. they oem is good for only 3-4 years but with the tender I bet i will get more.
