Now we've all been there, pull into a parking lot and see another SRT8 then walk in to the store, restaurant, bar, club, etc and the whole time you are there are thinking "I wonder who owns that jeep"......has happened to me at least 5 times over the past year and have heard stories about it happening to others.

I'll leave out names, but I got a text from someone that was going to sit and wait in the parking lot until the owner came out just to have a chat (Stalker)......oh, you know who you are.

Anyway, has anyone thought of making up generic business cards that you could leave on the windshield with something as simple as letting the person know they were spotted, that you too own one of these vehicles, that would point them to the forum and even had your screen name so they could look you up?

Figured it probably had been kicked around already but figured I'd ask.

I LOVE that idea!!!!! I was just thinking about that yesterday. At the wall mart parking lot, with 2 SRT8's in there. Do it.

Well it sounds like we are on to something here. I wasn't actually thinking of doing this myself, more looking for someone in the industry that could drive the project and do something in bulk.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if this should somehow be a forum driven thing since we'll be driving new members to the site and ultimately to the vendors.

I'm no marketing guy just thowing things out there for consideration, bottom line is that it would be cool to have business cards for when we run into our bothers & sisters on the street.

I actually did that a few years ago. Bought some business card stock and a program called Professional Business Card Maker.

Hey now Mike I try :rolleyes: & keep it within 5-10 over, but might get there rather quickly. Dawn on the other hand, well lets just say she's been pulled over doing about 35 over & didn't get anything.

It would be cool to know whos jeep you saw or if they saw yours but there are people out there that have srt8's that dont even know this site exists. In my book those people dont even deserve to have them because all hat they care about is their prissy lives. But going back on topic it is a good idea though.

You can make buisness cards on a computer pretty cheap. A lot of artsy prorams (printshop for ex) have teh templates and you can buy the cards, print, and tear. Simple and fairly cheap.

Is someone going to make these or what???? Someone post up some ideas so we can get an idea what they should look like or say.

Agreed and a good plan B, but my intent was to have this be more consistent in nature and possibly even sponsored by the site. If we could involve them it'd be a win-win for everyone. We'd be building up the community, the site would be getting more traffic and the vendors would be getting more business.

We could even go wild and crazy and have vendors use our screen names as a code when the "new folks" place an order. Once a pre set limit is hit then we'd get a code for X% off our next purchase.

Maybe Hemisphere can do up a nice photochopped card. Business cards are ~$50 for 500 cards.
Let's get a design Poll going and then we'll ask the admins to take a look and see if they can escalate the request. Like MadSRT said, we can also PM the vendors to see if they'd put in some $$ as well.

I agree with QuickOne. I think it should have our screen names. I really would like to see this happen.
