He already said their going to make them in 22x9 and 22x10, and they should be available March-April. What else you need to know?:p
Patience grasshopper, welcome to what the rest of us have been going through for 2+ years. ;)
5280SRT8 10-19-2010, 01:57 PM How much $$??
BOYCHIKS 10-19-2010, 02:09 PM Any chance you could put "SRT" on the spoke, or possibly make it an option?
smoove7410 10-19-2010, 03:19 PM ^They won't do that. Basically, they will make one mold per wheel (9 and 10) and they are making these for non srt's also. This was asked when we got the vipers and 300 reps made. You can, however, have it engraved in locally.....Chargum did this with the viper reps on lxf.
They did offer black chrome on a few wheels....all were sent out locally to get black chromed...so they may be able to offer it on the jeep reps.
As for pricing, all of there prices are extremely reasonable. For an idea, look at 22 inch viper or 300 srt8 wheels.....yours should cost about the same.
I would assume they will be offering chrome, gloss black, flat black and maybe a machined/silver finish (like mine in my sig). They may also offer competition grey and black chrome....who knows. Either way, these are going to look VERY good on a dropped Jeep.
Tyler 10-21-2010, 06:45 PM Doug:
Please PM me on where to send money for a 22x9 and 22x10 set-up in Black Chrome.

MarioSRT8 12-23-2010, 10:02 AM Hey guys, I just got a couple questions about these.
1. Will they have the engraved SRT on them?
2. Won't this affect performance in any way? Bigger wheel?
3. Any weigth difference?
Thank you.

1. I would say no, they will look like the 20" replicas, but in 22".
2. Yes it will effect mileage and performance slightly.
3. Bigger wheels + bigger tires = more weight.
Deraynged 12-25-2010, 01:53 AM I'm definitely on board. What tire sizes do you guys recommend for these? I'm currently running the 275/315 and wanna go with a similar look in the 22s".

From what I have seen them do in the past with LX wheels, the forum price is the price w/o a group buy. Shipping is extra.

malak 03-06-2011, 04:30 PM I know a ton of people are subscribed to this thread! Let's talk tire size. What sizes will work?? Will a 315 fit out back? What tire options do we have with 22" as far as brand and such? Thanks guys!!
smoove7410 03-06-2011, 11:18 PM Next week is mid-March, so hopefully any day now we will get an update with pre-ordering info.

malak 03-15-2011, 04:49 PM I just called Factory Reproductions and they said AT LEAST 60 days before they come out. He stressed the at least part too... So sounds like it could be longer. They are making sure the wheels fit over the 2011 calipers. So we wait...Sigh.

gc_srt 04-05-2011, 09:13 AM 265/40/22 up front and 285/35/22 Back you wount regret it
Disagree, the 265 are 30.35" in diameter where the 285 are 29.85" - that is a little too far off for our transfer case. I think we are stuck with 275/30R22 all the way around because I couldn't find anything in a staggered tire for 22x9 and 22x10. It would work for both the 9 and 10 inch rim. The only tire I found in this size is Yokohama ADVAN S.T.
I really would have like to fit 315 in the back as well, but we need at least a 11 inch rim to run a 315/25ZR22.
pmpn8ez 04-05-2011, 09:27 AM wrong
ask the OEM 20" guys if we "need" an 11" rim to fit 315s in the rear
I will be running 315/30/22s rear and 265/35/22 front vreds on 22x9 and 22x10 forged rims
315s will work on a 10" rim......
as long as you have the proper offset that is!

gc_srt 04-05-2011, 01:24 PM wrong

I will be running 315/30/22s rear and 265/35/22 front vreds on 22x9 and 22x10 forged rims
315s will work on a 10" rim......
as long as you have the proper offset that is!
I am aware that 315 (12.4") work for 20"x10" because I have a set of vreds on my Jeep - 10" wide tires are the absolute bare minimum for those tires on a 20" rim. So a tire with the same exterior dimensions will fit inside the wheel well with that offset - agreed. But there is a big difference between a 20" and 22" wheel with low profile tires, when installing it on the wheel. Offset has nothing to do with this, it is simply width of the tire versus width of the wheel. So instead of having 4.34" {(315mm*35%/24.5mm/inch)/2} to go from 12.4" (315mm/25.4mm/inch) to 11" (10" nominal width), you have 3.72" {(315mm*30%/24.5mm/inch)/2}. FYI, a 10" nominal width (stock back wheel) is actually 11", hence why offset and backspacing has to be adjusted by 1" in the calculation. I am not saying that you physically cannot do it, but I would not recommend it. You may have issues with tire installers legally allowing to do this since those rear tires you selected have a minimum wheel width of 11" (nominal).
Hopefully that helps you in the future.
pmpn8ez 04-05-2011, 02:11 PM dude
based on your analogy that it simply comes down to "width of the tire vs width of the rim"
a 315/35/20 is 12.4" wide
a 315/30/22 is 12.4" wide
if a 20x10 OEM wheel is in fact a "nominal" 10" wide wheel, but realistically a 11" wheel.....then so is the aftermarket 22x10!
and if you are saying you will have issues with finding a place to install a 315/30/22 tire on a 22x10 "nominal" rim...then that EXACT same tire shop SHOULD have had issues installing your 315/35/20 tire on the 20x10 "nominal" oem rim
both tire widths call for a 10.5 to 12.5 "nominal" width rim......
if it fits one, it should fit the other
like I said, barring any deep offsets causing inside rubbing........
gc_srt 04-05-2011, 03:04 PM It's more about geometry between the outside of the tire and the outside of the rim. The difference between the edge of the tire and the edge of the wheel is 0.7" (12.4"-11")/2 - again actual size of the rim versus nominal. The sidewall of the 315/30 is 3.72" (315mmx30%/25.4mm/inch) and the 315/35 is 4.34" (315mmx35%/25.4mm/inch). Therefore the angle on the 35 series is approximately 9.16 degrees while 30 series is 10.66 degrees. The higher the angle, the more difficult it is to install the wheel and the less safe the tire is on the wheel.
Sorry for the geometry lesson, but that is the theory. Basically, the larger the rim is, the wider the rim has to be to maintain the angle. This is why you can use a rim with a width of 8.5" to run a 33x12.5R15 - the tire width is 12.4". Please see the below website for greater detail:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T%2FA+KO&partnum=325R5ATAKORWLV2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes
(That is an extreme example, but you get the point)
pmpn8ez 04-05-2011, 03:27 PM so NOW your saying the difference between your 315/35/20 tire being "safe" and my 315/30/22 tire being "unsafe" on a 10" wide rim is the the 1.5 degree difference in sidewall angle, and no longer what you first said about width differences 15 minutes ago??
come on bro......
I understand your theory behind this assumption and followed your calculations....and I DO fully agree with you that it may be a TAD bit more difficult to mount.....but come on man......any reputable shop that has the ability to install the 315/35/20 WILL be able to install the 315/30/22
you and I both know the 315/30/22 will fit and function exactly the same as your 315/35/20 on the same width wheel........1.5 degrees of sidewall angle difference between these 2 tires cannot be the threshold of safety
but, whatever makes you feel safe is all thats important.......I dont feel like bickering over this matter anymore
for those of us that do not want a 295 tire or can no longer get matching 305 tires for 22s, the 315 should be a valid option to consider.....IMO....but once again, thats if you have checked the clearance for it avoiding rubbing the inner fenders........
gc_srt 04-05-2011, 04:08 PM My first theorem is the same as my second - the larger the rims are in diameter, the wider the rims should be to maintain the sidewall angle. I didn't say it was unsafe, I said 'more safe' - it's a relative term. And that 1.5 degrees is a 16.3% increase in the sidewall angle.
I am not here to bicker with you, I am just trying to help fellow forum members make informed decisions.
pmpn8ez 04-05-2011, 05:58 PM Lets keep this simple:
The tires in question are the exact same width.
The only difference is a 1.5 degree angle of the way the side wall sits on the edge of the wheel lip?
Thats about the thickness of a finger nail
I'm sorry, but no matter how many formulas you use, you can't argue that
I can skew numbers to make them seem more significant as well......2 degrees is 100% more than 1 degree!!!!
This stance of yours seems a bit outlandish.....
If you run the 315/35/20, you can run the 315/30/22
If the 315/35/20 was 1.5 degrees from "safe" no one would run them
gc_srt 04-06-2011, 07:28 AM How is 1.5 degrees the thickness of a finger nail? An angle cannot be a distance - that is basic geometry.
And that 1.5 degrees is a 16.3% ((4.34"-3.72")/3.72"x100%) increase in the sidewall angle - fact. You cannot argue a formula, math does not lie.
But have fun with your new tires, hope they turn out for you.
pmpn8ez 04-06-2011, 08:16 AM "The sidewall of the 315/30 is 3.72" (315mmx30%/25.4mm/inch) and the 315/35 is 4.34" (315mmx35%/25.4mm/inch). Therefore the angle on the 35 series is approximately 9.16 degrees while 30 series is 10.66 degrees."
come on now....
I was talking about the angle (that you calculated) and how the tire sits against the rim.....
this 16.3% difference you calculated is based on the sidewall differences between the 2 tires..........4.34" vs 3.72"
the angle difference, based on your calculations, is a 1.5 degree change between the 2 tires...
YoungMedic23 04-06-2011, 11:43 AM WTF are u guys arguing about
pmpn8ez 04-06-2011, 11:46 AM the funniest part is Paulie coming in to break it up :)
YoungMedic23 04-06-2011, 12:02 PM http://images2.memegenerator.net/ImageMacro/6823849/there-a-20-piece-mcnugget-box.jpg?imageSize=Medium&generatorName=Angry-Black-Man
gc_srt 04-06-2011, 01:37 PM Basically, I said the lower the series of the tire, the closer the wheel width has to match to the tire width. Or the larger the rim diameter, the closer the wheel width has to match to the tire width - assuming you maintain the same overall tire height.
His argument, a 315 tire will fit on any 10" wide rim.
Is that a pretty good summary pmpn8ez?
pmpn8ez 04-06-2011, 02:22 PM you can throw numbers into formulas in an attempt to manipulate the common observer all you want, its not impressing me
I never said anything about "a 315 tire will fit any 10" wide rim"....step away from the calculator for 5 seconds and actually take time to read what people write......
my stance is based on 2 tire sizes only
you are the one that came out saying a 315/30/22 will not work on a rim under 11" wide
the slight differences between the 2 tires is 3/4" of overall diameter and about 1/2" of sidewall height....and lets not forget your 1.5 degree angle change (which you say is a 16.3% change...somehow) on the 22" tire vs the 20" tire
my stance is that if you run the extremely popular and widely accepted 315/35/20 on a 10" rim, you can run a 315/30/22 on a 10" rim
if the tire shop can install your 35 series, they will install your 30 series
I guess what I want to know is how can you sit here and try to tell the forum that such subtle changes in mounting angle, sidewall height and overall diameter of the 315/30/22 compared to the widely accepted 315/35/20 will be THAT much of a difference making it unmountable and less safe?????
Does that actually sum it up better Dustin?
bruno 04-06-2011, 02:29 PM WTF are u guys arguing about
Exactly!
No more! Both of you (pmpn8ez & gc_srt) have completely thread jacked the original intent of this supporting vendor's thread.

Se7endust1 04-07-2011, 04:18 PM I had called last week, they had said to check back in another 30 days, although it's seems as the 60 day thing as previously stated is still in effect. I asked if they had a customer pre-order list or anything set up; they said no. Perhaps if enough of us call we can get that list setup. I know I would love to get my name at the top of that list. Not to mention sell off my nearly mint stockers :)
5280SRT8 05-09-2011, 08:10 PM Just found out my black reps ship on the 17th!! I'll get pics up as soon as they're mounted!
malak 05-09-2011, 09:30 PM Huh? 22 inch black reps shipping the 17th!?
5280SRT8 05-09-2011, 10:26 PM Huh? 22 inch black reps shipping the 17th!?
That's what I was told!
BOYCHIKS 05-09-2011, 10:36 PM Man, about time!
Can't wait to see them on your rig :D
centxsrt8 05-09-2011, 10:39 PM Im pumped to see these on a Jeep. Im thinking about a set of grays!
boosting 05-17-2011, 04:52 PM That's what I was told!
So...did they ship out today?
5280SRT8 05-17-2011, 05:00 PM So...did they ship out today?
Spoke to my wheel guy today asking for a tracking #. He said he gets emailed at the end of the day from FR with tracking #'s and that he should have info for me tomorrow. I sure hope they went out. This waiting thing is overrated!! I'll keep you all posted!

FR ebay listings say they ship 5/20/11. They also do not list the SRT8 in "fits" section, just Grand Cherokee 99-2011. Pretty confusing stuff.....

Yeah I saw that too. I guess worse case scenario they go out Friday. But my guy said he spoke to them directly and that was the day they told him. So...fingers crossed. Oh and they definitely will fit the SRT!!
gc_srt 05-18-2011, 08:34 AM Doug emailed me yesterday and he said that they won't have chrome finished 22" SRT wheels for another 30-45 days. I emailed him back and ask if they will have a 275/315 wheel combo but he has yet to respond.
YoungMedic23 05-18-2011, 02:10 PM What a bunch of god damn BS
kazaam 05-18-2011, 02:52 PM Wheel tire combo is the only way I'm buying these man, too much hassle getting my last set mounted and balanced. Don't mean to sound stupid, but satin blk is the same as flat black right?

if you plan on driving them more than 1 mile after mounting, you might want to also get the TPMS my man!!
the combo kits FR has do not include these!!!
5280SRT8 05-18-2011, 03:17 PM So heard today that they didn't ship yesterday but supposedly by the end of the week. I'll believe when I see it. Gotta love "car related" promises. I always double the amount of time it's suppose to take for this very reason. Seems they always over promise and under deliver. Oh well...shouldn't be long

I am with you, these dates vendors throw out are never accurate. If these were ready to ship by end of week I would think that Doug would have threw up a few post updates on this site considering they are Jeep SRT8 replicas! I am sure these will look sick but the wait is killing me. I need new tires ASAP which means I need these ASAP. :(

I hear ya. I had some horrible seperation on my front driver side tire that I noticed about 3 weeks ago when I put on the Eibachs. Had to pull the trigger on four new run flats. I def was not happy about that. Hopefully I can get my money back when I sell the 20"s. I'm gonna roll the 22"s all year long :)
Se7endust1 05-18-2011, 03:56 PM I'm going to do the package setup with the tpms installed as well. I'm not sure if I trust any of the tire shops around here to mount and balance the set. I emailed Doug a while ago...he replied but avoided giving me any info regarding package setups. I'll stick to the stockers if its not possible I spose.
smoove7410 05-18-2011, 05:56 PM The ebay page shows the cost for tpms. Usually when they give a date on ebay, it is pretty solid. However, if customs holds the container up, there is nothing they can do. I am pulling for you!
SrtJake 05-18-2011, 11:06 PM Now I feel that I have a legitimate question here. Where is this guy Doug with any recent updates?? All of this back and forth is heresay to me. Doug, where ya at with an official word?
smoove7410 05-19-2011, 11:35 AM ^FR rarely comes on any forum. He will realistically post when they are in hand and he has pictures to show.
Rez90 05-19-2011, 02:46 PM In for pics installed. Rims look awesome.
smoove7410 05-26-2011, 03:34 PM Bump....what's the deal?
Wintermute 05-26-2011, 04:00 PM picsorban ??
boosting 05-26-2011, 04:05 PM picsorban ??
Don't think anyone has these yet. I cant even get FR to answer my emails.
BOYCHIKS 05-27-2011, 10:26 AM Hmm, well I sure hope they come out and the offsets are correct.
Still want to see them installed!
drpsoas 05-29-2011, 03:41 PM I wonder if we can run 335/25 rear and 285/30 front like 6gtt was running with his adv.1's!
That would be sweet. He unfortunately never posted his offsets
pmpn8ez 05-31-2011, 07:23 AM I believe those adv.1s were an 11" width in the back
these reps will be 10s
I personally wouldnt go any wider than 315/30s......
some say they wont work
they work beautifully on my 22s.........
drpsoas 05-31-2011, 09:35 AM So you did a 315/30 out back...on what width and offset rim?
Then you are running a 265 or 285 on the front? offset and rim width?
Thank you
pmpn8ez 05-31-2011, 11:59 AM yes. 315/30/22 out back on a 10" wide and a 265/35/22 on a 9" wide front rim
dont know the offsets, they were custom built to srt specs to clear brembos and not stick out past the wheel wells is all I know
drpsoas 05-31-2011, 12:14 PM Nice. your offsets are probably the same at oem and the factory rep rims.
I saw your pictures...very nice.
pmpn8ez 05-31-2011, 12:15 PM I doubt they are the same as OEM because I have a lip, not flush faced spokes
I could be wrong though........
malak 05-31-2011, 12:20 PM Just got off the phone with Doug. Everything is in stock and ready to rock! Just ordered a set of satin black 22's with 265/35/22 front and 295/30/22 rear Vreds, TPMS, and black lugs! Suppose to ship out tomorrow!
pmpn8ez 05-31-2011, 12:21 PM THATS the combo Im looking forward to seeing!!!
what color is your Jeep??
malak 05-31-2011, 12:24 PM Black and Murdered.
pmpn8ez 05-31-2011, 12:25 PM make sure you let me know when you get them mounted!!
I will buy them to go along with all my other wheels if its as hot as I think it will be!!!
malak 05-31-2011, 12:27 PM Will do my friend! He said they won't be here till next Monday or Tuesday.
