OK, so I know this was probably talked about to some degree, but I purchased the extended warranty on my 2010 GC SRT and recall the salesperson saying that I could get some of my money back if I ever opted to cancel it.

So, before I void the warranty (or potentially void it) I wanted to see if I could at least get some money back from the extended and use that towards more mods.

Anyone know the quickest way to do this? Anyone already do this and can speak to the process and if it is worth the effort?

Thanks all.

I haven't done it with a Chrysler product, but I believe by law they have to prorate it and return the remainder. That's how it was with my Murano. However some dealers may try to keep it unless pushed. I'd just call the dealer and talk to the guy that handles the warranty paperwork. That's what I did, and got a check from Nissan shortly afterwards.

Good luck!

You should have recieved an extended service card, or packet. Call the service # and let them know you would like to cancel the extended warranty. You will recieve a check for the remainder shortly. Chrysler is pretty straight foreward, no monkey business. I cancelled the extended warranty on my Ram without issue.

If it's a Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep warranty, you'll have to cancel it at the dealership. If the vehicle is still under it's factory warranty, you should get every dime (minus any administrative fees) back.

Here's a decent recap. 2nd thought is why don't you just read the contract/warranty you received and look for the paragraph(s) that cover warranty cancellation. They all, whether from dealer, or purchased later through aftermarket, have to contain this info by law.
