Apparently, the "other" site is where the "professional" SRT8 owners hang out. This site if full of "newbs" who require far too much hard data and proof before modding, etc. *rollseyes*

Hey, just ask Sgt.Stanko, that's what he said in a thread on the other site. Really pisses me off. My opinion of him has changed considerably.

Seems like InfernoSRT8 feels the same way. But I know I'll hear it now because he most likely wasn'y referring to us. A quote taken out of context leaves room for misinterpretation.

Do I like that he painted with a really broad brush? No-- I think it's silly and ignorant. But in my case it is pretty much true. Wehn it comes to performance-- I'm a noob. Don't care either. I won't ever change in that regard. But am I being led to slaughter? Not unless you mean you're taking me to a heavy metal concert, boss.

Did you see the date on that 09/27/06......you have to remember at the beginning the other site was used a lot more than this one and now its visa versa.... A lot of the testing was done before the 07 came out... I think his point was that some of the stuff that was being talked about had already been tested. BTW You’re passing judgment on a post before you were even a member :confused:

I saw the post date, I just found it odd how Sarge spent so much time on both forums, yet classified this site as being "full of newbs." I'm curious, does he still feel this way? This is not directed to anyone in general BUT do me a favor, dont assume I feel the same as what you just posted or said, post my entire post, the only misinterpretation is what you just posted and quoted me as saying.

I was referring to headers not newbies.

As far as Steve is concerned he is my friend and if anyone has a problem, leave me out of your little net quarrels.

I dont have the time nor the patience to deal with internet bickering. Im here to learn and help others squeeze the most out of there 8's, some of us could easily say FTW and keep our results to ourselves and let you figure it out with YOUR OWN MONEY WHAT WORKS.

Okay guys, the OP got his answer, so I'm closing this thread.

The answer is the "other site" is a friendly competitor, but due to some past problems, the owner of this site has disallowed the url and links and attempting to override the filters is disrespectful of that. Next time you see this question, just quietly send a PM like the first responder did.

Additionally, most of us have friends on both sides of the fence...
Please, no cross-forum bashing!
