So I've decided to get some protection and fulfill my NHRA requirements. In my research, I came across this video of a 2007 WK. It looks like with the current rollbars that are available for us, they would have failed in this test, as there is no protection from the main hoop forward to the windshield. It appears that only a full cage would have helped prevent the extreme crushing of the whole roof in this test. I don't think I'll ever hit low enough ET's to warrant having a full cage but dang, even at the speeds I'm trapping now, I think rolling the Jeep would be devastating without a cage? More food for thought!:confused:
