Ok, so I leave my weekly sales meeting early today so I can go pick up my 4 yr old daughter from pre-school. When I get there I explain that daddy has to run back to the office before taking her to grandmas. So we head out and the first light I hit a black Z28 lines up with me. I look over to see heavy window tint and the guy starts reving on me. So as I sit there and ponder over the fact that I shouldn't do anything with my kid in the car I hear a small voice from the back seat say "Come on dad you can beat this guy". I don't know what concerns me more. The fact that she wanted me to race or that she knew I could take the Z! Part of me was proud as hell :D and another part of me thought "What the hell have you done to your daughter!?" I didn't give full throttle off the line but I gave him enough to let him know he couldn't win anyway. My daughter to say the least was disappointed. I got a kick out of the whole thing so I thought y'all might too.

Every morning when I am going to work the kids line up in the window and start screaming at me to floor it, so they can hear the beast growl. Even when they ride with me, all they want me to do is punch it. Good thing I have a little self control when they are in the beast. At 6,4,&2 they are all calling dibs on the Jeep. No one wants Mommy's Armada or Dads slow benz. (Since when is 300 ponies slow)
Hahaha.... that is awesome.

My son's (3 & 6) do the same thing. "Go fast daddy, go fast."
When I drive the Mustang to work, my wife says my kids know I'm coming down the street before they look out the window.

Man, glad to see I'm not alone...my kid always yells at me from the back seat, faster papi...faster! They guy is not even 3 yet and I have to explain to him that you can't go fast all the time, he ignores me...lol. (only go fast if I'm beating a yellow...I don't race or speed w him in the truck).
These kids have great taste and know our trucks are the sh*t!
I knew kids were smart but a toddler telling me to go faster really cracks me up :)

When I first read I was thinking you were imaging that comment coming from the back seat. Hilarious that it actually happened.

My kids, 11 and 7, love to try and hold onto the A-pillar handle and have me launch. I'll put it into 1st to keep the revs up. If they don't break their grip on the initial launch, I hit the brakes real quick and jam the throttle in cycles until they rip their arm out of socket. They love it!!!!!! :)

Funny story mang. It'll be a year or so before my daughter begins talking, but I cannot wait for her to tell me something like ALL of you have mentioned. CLASSIC! :D
