Well I finally started taking the upgrade plung other than my cat-back and x-pipe. Last month I got the Pred and then just recently Johan hooked me up with a killer CMR. For some reason today I felt like spending a couple of $$ so I ordered the Volant CAI, a 180 T-Stat and the BT Catch Can (sweet one, Red with matching lines and clear bottom).

Some people may dispute this fact but I now have the coolest SRT in Kennett.

See ya'll at the track.

Now all you need is a case of Beer to go with your Mods!

Upgrades imply that you didn't have that item before; beer is far from an upgrade by definition.

Brian is just mad b/c I'm thinking a cam is next. Just have to figure out how large I can go, who has it and who can install it......

Give Andy a call, he can tell you how big you can go depending on what you want to do...just cam, cam and springs, heads and cam, etc...
I know they have a couple places out east, but exactly where escapes me at this time.

Thanks and Keoni pointed me to Andy as well.

Looks like my questions will have to wait until the more important new baby down time is out of the way.

Contact Brad or Justin in his absence. You can send Andy an email as well, just may be a bit of a delay in replying.

Thats what I told him. I dont know how much more power you can get out of a cam with pushrods and springs and if it would be worth it. Big cams also usually push power into the upper RPM so a TCM at that point might be a good idea and he does mostly street driving so a smaller cam with more low end might be preferential.

A cam is usually good for 30-40HP. It depends on the grind, but generally the bigger cams push the power curve. That being said, most cams have a curve that starts between 2400-2800 RPM.
