: Have you switched away from run flats?
ekool 05-30-2007, 03:42 PM Are you still running the stock tires/stock replacement tires or have you gone with a non run flat?
A secondary question might be: if you switched, how do you plan to deal with a flat tire? And another: Are you happy you made the switch?
SRT8Bob 05-30-2007, 04:03 PM Are you still running the stock tires/stock replacement tires or have you gone with a non run flat?
And I will add, for those who have switched, how do you like the difference, and how do you plan to deal with a flat? Can't be formally included in the poll, but I am curious...Bob
HoustonSRT-8 05-30-2007, 05:04 PM I had to replace two front tires last week and ended up just going with stock replacements. I couldn't drop the extra $400 on the 275/40 Michelin run-flats.
OurZoo 05-30-2007, 06:33 PM I am yearning for the new Michelins Steve, Claude and a few others are using.

I love the new Michelins and will use a flat kit which includes plugin air pump and sealant for emgcys John
umchemeng 05-30-2007, 09:15 PM No change to stock, but after only 1500 miles... why would I?
panajeep 05-30-2007, 10:21 PM I going to change to toyo R1
BuilderBill 05-31-2007, 12:18 AM I love the new Michelins and will use a flat kit which includes plugin air pump and sealant for emgcys John At 13k I still have a fair amount of life left in the originals.
I believe I will also do the Michelins & flat kit....seems like the best alternative.
I bet the ride difference is noticeable with the Michelins.

NitroCrzy 05-31-2007, 12:45 AM After completely burning off the tread on my stock "Pirelli PZero Scorpion" runflats, I was forced to go to a stock sized non-runflat. I'm pretty convinced my tires were factory defective due to some unusual wear conditions. Litterally, I had chunks of rubber disappearing and every tire was showing severe road damage. Granted I did race two full days at BIC raceway. I managed to burn off the stock brakes as well all within 6000 miles. The last straw was one of the Pirelli's developed a serious looking buldge so I ended up going with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires.... 245/45ZR/20's. My brakes are embarrasingly loud and there really is no good place to do a proper bedding. So, tomorrow I am planning on hitting the track again. As for the non-runflat issue. My wife is super paranoid that I could be killed along side the road changing a flat...so I'll carry plugs along with a can of fix a flat. In the mean time, I am looking to buy stock wheels US spec'd. I don't care what tire so long as they are runflats and these will become my track tires. :)
Blown7 05-31-2007, 04:21 AM I'm staying with stock, I like them.
As a sidenote the way I'm handling the spare issue is
I bought one of these front tires (well actually a rear too but not gonna mount it till I need it.)
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c96/Blown7/May52007006.jpg
Then I bought a front rim as it will fit the rear also
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c96/Blown7/May52007007.jpg
Then I bought one of these
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c96/Blown7/May52007008.jpg
Then had it all mounted and will stay in my garage until I have a long road trip then it will reside in the back.
One thing I found out about the tires and rims in my area is the needed tire machines to install these tires are few and far in between.

ronald mcglothlin 06-18-2007, 05:24 PM Will not have the run flats, just makes the ride to rough. This thing is stiff to begin with, it has to be to handle like it does. It does not have to beat me to death with run flats. I have a extra front rim for a spare, but do not carry it unless leaving town.
luvr 6.1 06-18-2007, 06:23 PM I swapped the runflats for the 315/35/20 and 275/40/20 Toyo Proxes S/T and love it! The truck is now a pleasure to drive and no more harsh ride and tracking with the grooves in the road. Definitely a beautiful thing, the jeep rides better that my wifes Pacifica. For a spare I have a compressor and sealer and "DynaPlug" the new way to do nail repairs yourself. When looking into the runflats and finding people that deal with them are few and far between. If I was on a trip in the middle of nowhere and needed the runflats repaired it would be very difficult to find a place to do the work. It takes special equipment and a trained tech. With normal tires any tire place can do the fix, but if you get a fast leak or blowout you may be in trouble.
Do I worry about it?.....nope. Would I get rid of the Toyos?......nope.

Godiwant1 06-18-2007, 06:43 PM Would using sealer or (gunk) on a jeep (or any car/truck) with the tire pressure monitoring system clog up the pressure monitor? Not quite sure how that system works.

Continental makes the pump and sealer kit with a latex sealant material that can be washed out after the tire has been repaired and works with TPMS sensors.
generalconfusion 06-18-2007, 10:57 PM There is NO WAY I would ever go back to those miserable stiff riding run flats. Why in the world did they select this tire for the Jeep to begin with?!?!?!!!!! The Magnum has no spare either but they did not select run flats for it. Justa pump.....green fix a flat and a 800-tow you number. The Michelins and it sounds like the Toyo's as well give the Jeep the ride and handling it should have had to begin with........like i said......my interior doesnt wear coffee any more!!

Krush 06-19-2007, 04:15 PM Has anyone switched to the Michelin run flats? How do they compare to the Goodyears?
I feel like I have to stick with run flats, I can't afford to lose anytime on the road. I'm offroading on job sites almost everyday, and flats are just a part of it. I can't wait for a tow truck and need the option on going to my next job site before heading in for a repair. It pretty much comes down to the Jeep being my daily driver/company car and not losing sight of how important it's reliability is.

luvr 6.1 06-24-2007, 06:12 AM OK THER HARD BUT IF THES HAPENS TO YOU YOU WOLD NEVER GO BACK CHK THE PICS
Not sure exactly what your saying with all the typo's but I think you are trying to say "OK THEIR HARD BUT IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, YOU WOULD NEVER GO BACK? CHECK THE PICS". If that is what you are asking me then I'll respond with YES, I would not go back. That is why I have AAA and a cell phone. Yeah the jeep is nice but it would be parked on the side of the road until towed, it is still a car. I do know this, the likelyhood of fixing a nail or screw is higher than the BlowOut in your picture. Call around and see how places where you live deal with runflats? I know in my area they are few and far between because trying to find a tire installer for the Goodyear Customer Satisfaction program was a PITA. So if I had a flat due to a nail/screw out somewhere I would be driving all over gods creation to find a place to fix it, and with a blow out of the magnatude in your picture I bet your maximum travel distance would be alot less than the recommended 50 miles at 50mph. So eventually you would be in the same situation as a regular tire but then dealing with a RunFlat to boot. Don't get me wrong, I know what the purpose of Runflats provide and they do offer that extra measure of protection which helped you tremendously, but I feel more comfortable with the "pump & sealer" which is what I'll use all winter long for my winter tires which are not RunFlats either. Just my 2 cents. :D
NitroCrzy 06-24-2007, 09:12 AM Judging from his plates it looks like he lives in Saudi Arabia... :) I'm guessing his english is great but still a second language.
srt8 for me:
Have you found replacement runflats yet? I tried to find them here in Saudi and in Bahrain with no luck. I'm stuck carrying plugs and a portable air compressor.
I am convinced my Pirelli PZero Scorpion runflats were factory defective. I had very severe road damage with little to no miles on the Jeep. I did race my Jeep so there was little I could say when they told me no-way on replacements due to extreme wear.

ok her i goose i have the US wheel and tires and i have a complete set of the gulf spec wheels and tires . and as Have you found replacement runflats yet? yes .:D
NitroCrzy 06-24-2007, 01:54 PM Right now I only have export wheels. I ended up buying Goodyear F1 Supercar tires but the non run flat version at around $467 a tire.... grrrrrr.... I thought they were run flat when I bought and of course no exchange.
I'm looking to order the US spec wheels and tires. Not sure if I wanna do Goodyear... Thinking of trying a different run flat. It's too dangerous here to get stuck along side the road with a flat.

Sounds good. Have to see if I can get them in the UK.
Had a reply from Pirelli about my tyres
This particular tyre has been developed for this vehicle from specification given to us by Jeep. This development/testing process takes at least three years before the vehicle manufacture chooses any tyre/manufacturer for the Original Equipment Contract. This therefore, is considered to be the best possible fitment for the vehicle for comfort, acoustics, wear and handling.
I feel as if we have not been of any help in this instance but, would suggest that upon removal of the tyres they are returned back to us for testing for a material or manufacturing fault. This is a "free of charge" service that we offer through any tyre dealer. Once the tyres have been inspected we will write to you with our findings.

Just be careful not to get our wheel sizes confused with the states. The goofy tire dealers here must be reading the information out of the US when trying to find tires to fit. I did finally find the same stock size but not the runflat version of the Goodyears (GoodYear F1 Supercar 245/45ZR/20). These tires have only 1000K on them but already look like about 40,000K.

I didn't have any luck here in Saudi. I could order and wait for close to the right size but that would also cost $836 per tire. I'm resigned to buying tires & wheels when I come back to the States in Oct.

BAD ASP 10-19-2007, 08:30 PM I have an 07 gc srt8 and have had 3 tires go bad with split tread, and two inside sidewall failures. I have also replaced a rim that was damaged hitting a pothole on the expressway at 70- mph. I decided that these tires are a pain in the ass so I had kept the bent rim (straightened out with a dead blow hammer) as a spare which resides in the back under a cover, loaded up a bottle jack, air compressor and a lug wrench. I then picked out a goodyear tire that is highly rated for highway running in wet and snow (fortera 285 50hr 20) and put them on all four. the front wheel wells required some modifications to eliminate the tire rubbing. I absolutely love the new ride comfort and the improved wet traction. The higher profile and tread pattern may not be as high performance and stealthy looking but I have had it with the run flats and these rims. By the way my dealer convinced me to buy the wheel insurance for $500.00 (over the life of the vehicle) and it paid for the new tire and wheel twice due to rims being bent by pot hole strikes on the highway. This insurance has been the best investment for this truck. These potholes haven't been a problem since the new tires are on and no more toothe rattling when hitting minor bumps.
I will take some pics and post them for what its worth. I know a lot of ya'll who live in more temperate climates won't have the same kind of road problems we have in the midwest and this change won't interest you. But if you are tired of the harsh ride, damaged rims and wrecked tires from bad roads this is an option to consider.
The mods required were to cut the wheel well liner at the rear of the wheel well about 7 inches from the bottom. I then had to apply the old pursuader / hammer to the body blisters to flatten them slightly so the wheels cleared. I also had to cut off the very bottom of the upper ball joint threaded rod to the bottom of the threads, it is an unnecessary extension on the rod so it does not interfere with the function of this part. The H tires are rated (130 mph)below the runflats speed rating Z (186 mph) but I really don't find that I will ever drive this truck over 130 mph for very long. The tires fill out the wheel well much better and the weight differential is meaningless to me ( 42lbs vs 40 lbs). I will post from time to time if I find any more positives or more importantly negatives.
Razorecko 10-19-2007, 08:42 PM Hey bad lets see those pics :)
ULENOME 11-21-2007, 04:25 AM Wanted / needed to get new tires. OEM tires suck! I had run flats on my corvette(98) and they suck also. I have been reading about the 315/275 set up and was concern with the fact that I live in Michigan and the roads here are f____ed up! So check all combos and the only one that would help my problem (MI roads) was TO TRY THE 295/40/20 rear and 265/45/20 front. Now the new problem was only 2 tire company's that I know of have those sizes and they were Toyo (not bad) and Pirelli (best) so I went with the Pirellis=$1200. They cost my a little more compared to the Toyos=$750

HOUSE8 01-26-2009, 11:28 PM Myself, I have the Goodyears. Replacement cost is about 330 to 350 a tire here in Detroit. If you go with a reg.tire. Be advised that replacement cost for a damaged rim is about 900 bucks. And thats used.
srt8bro 02-17-2009, 11:11 AM after alot of research, I'm going with the Michelin Latitudes (275/315).
very good summer tire both dry/wet and decent in snow for northeast climate..
and most importantly, they look hot!
jaras1976 03-08-2009, 04:00 PM Can you guys post exact tire sizes when you are talking about what you have and like. I would like to go with the same size as stock, maybe a little more low profile but not sure yet. I still got good thread left on my Goodyear Runflat Stock Tires
Has anyone tried any other Toyo tires other than the Toyo Proxes S/T's? They have some really nice looking tires there and anyone know about how many miles people are going to be getting out of these different tires or atleast maybe what these manufactures say as for miles estimated?
And some pictures would be nice of each on the GC SRT8.

I found these (http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/searchTireMatchingPairs.do?v=011474|2007&r=NVLINT|pc|89119&mps=-50) for cheap for you guys, stock size (Nitto NT420S, $188 front and $203 rear)
suprem454 06-12-2009, 07:23 AM I was about to change from the run farts, because of tread seperation, but I took a chance and complained to Goodyear. They made an appointment for me at a Goodyear dealer to have them look at the tires. Well after a bit of angry banter and crying foul over the poor quality of the run flats, (Note, I have 33000 miles on the original tires and they r barely half way down), they agreed on 150.00 per front tire. So I have run farts for a little while longer.
Joe Las Vegas 06-15-2009, 12:46 PM Got some info here:
1) They are M&S rated (http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-st-ii), always a useful thing if going in light snow (Mt Charleston)
2) They have the staggered set up here (http://www.tirecrawler.com/index.php) for $153 front (275) and $206 Rear (315), very inexpensive
considering the huge sizes.
Big tires would be my first mod for sure.
Isn't TPMS a concern when having the tires installed?
Dave_MacKinnon 08-09-2009, 12:27 AM A M&S (Mud and Snow) rating nly specified a specific void ratio. Unfortnunately, this needs to be combined with an appropriate rubber formula that stays pliable as temperatures drop - for snow performance that is.
TPMS is only a concern if the person doing the work doesn't know you have them. Any shop, worthy of working on one of these trucks, should be familiar with the proper procedures to hand valve-stem TPMS systems.
nifty97z 08-09-2009, 03:21 AM Any reputable tire shop should be able to work with our rigs. Hell, I changed my stock Goodyear's out for my STIIs on my own. It's not a hard task nor should it be for any tire shop.

I Went With Yokohama Parada Spec-x 265-50 Front 295-45 Rear.

Hey, would it be possible for you to post pictures of the new tires on that. Thats what size i am going with. Just want to see how much it fills the wells. thanks
Swedish SRT8-owner 09-12-2009, 09:16 AM 3 weeks ago i switched too Kumho ecsta STX 275/40 all 4 corners and i`m very satisfied!
Much smoother ride and they perform 200% better when it`s wet or raining.
I switched to nitto 420s all around, have had for a few thousand miles now.
I love them, a very noticable difference. Everything on the road is quieter, on the highway I hardly feel bumps that I used to avoid on the stock tires
my stock tires separated, and I was done after that.
I have patch a flat and an air compressor with me at all times.
thesrt8 10-27-2009, 10:30 PM For everyone using 275s in the front, do you encounter problems with turning radius being diminished? Any wheel well issues with the larger width on the tire?
Chris Hull@TTC 10-27-2009, 10:37 PM I switched to nitto 420s all around, have had for a few thousand miles now.

I second the 420's, what a difference from the run flats. the ride is night and day.
nifty97z 10-28-2009, 03:54 AM I have had no TR issues with my 275s up front. The only change I really noticed is during sharp u-turns I can feel the AWD/angles geometry slide the wider tire a lil bit (not a huge noticeable difference - I am just that particular about how much attention I pay to my vehicles ;) ) I am more then happy with my 275/315 combo!!!
thesrt8 10-28-2009, 11:30 PM Is it better to have 275 all around or staggered 275/315? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
nifty97z 10-28-2009, 11:34 PM Well for the stock USA SRT8 GCs the rear rim is an inch wider so the staggered is recommended. If you had all four rims the same exact size then you would want to go the same tire all around as well.
THe biggest overall concern is this: with an AWD vehicle you NEED to make sure that all four tires have the same overall height this way the fronts and the rears rotate equally.
thesrt8 10-29-2009, 12:03 AM I have the US GCSRT8 with staggered rims. So I guess I'll go with 275/315. The only real choice there are the Toyo proxes st ii. Anyone using these yet? Anyone have any feedback using these in the snow? I've looked around at some other forums and it seems that they like this tire (but on different cars).

...anyone in addition to nifty97z. I can't seem to edit the previous post.
nifty97z 10-29-2009, 12:10 AM Yeah they are even popular for the Chargers!!
Are you looking specifically for a non runflat all season tire??
thesrt8 10-29-2009, 12:36 AM Yes, non RFT all season that can tackle the snow if it has to.
Yes, halfway ....have the back two on the way...and the front two will be on the way to me shortly....I'm going to Nitto NT05's
fronts: 275/40/20
rears: 315/35/20
MOMSHOTROD 12-29-2009, 09:01 AM Switched to Yokohama Parada SpecX (275/45) all 4 corners. Handles the NYC streets and weather great. Like driving a different vehicle.
LVSpeedemon 03-12-2010, 10:50 AM Im still on my stocks, but as soon as 1 tire goes out I'm replacing all 4 with the Vreds 275/315 setup
k4u2luz2 03-21-2010, 07:00 AM I switched. To Nitto 420S. and then bought the fix a flat and compressor kit from the dealer.
jpaine 03-27-2010, 07:01 PM For those wanting a spare, I purchased an 18" wheel and tire that is the winter wheel they sell for the SRT8 and I selected a KUHMO allseason tire with the exact same (29.1") height and roll out dimensions as the stock 20" GY runflats. It fits both front and rear and was under $300.00 mounted, balanced and shipped to my house. I also carry a can of fix/a/flat but that wouldn't work to well with severe tire, or sidewall damage. On any long trips I just throw it in the back and dont worry about a 50 mile limit on my run flats....J
Doc75 03-30-2010, 09:02 PM Dropped the run flats......
Still running OEM rims but with Vredestein 275/40 and 315/35, fabulous tire for everything but snow. Have a second set of OEM rims with Scorpion Ice and Snow for winter (particularly snow)....
For punctures I use Dynaplug (plugs) with a mini 12V air compressor kept in the Jeep. works great...never been stranded all good for nails and such punctures
FYI......if a tire shreds it wont matter if its a run flat or not.....you'll need AAA or a tow etc....

If it shreds and your stranded (near home) it would be smarter to get a friend to take to your house and grab your spare wheel + a jack...rather than get a tow.
If you go on a long trip, I would take an extra wheel (to use as a spare) and jack. If it shreds far away from home, you swap the wheels and keep on your way.
^ Dont forget a tire iron!!! LOL
The point is... I dont think im gonna pay for a tow when I have a extra rim + tire at home
(I, like you have 2 sets of wheels)

Good thoughts......although the thought of me carrying a spare wheel on a long trip is a funny one....I'm such a "tart" I wouldnt want it in the trunk:D LOL......
moparman505 04-11-2010, 05:51 AM I dropped the run flats and went with Toyo Proxes STII's.(295 rears and 265 fronts) I have the old aerosol flat repair can in back for a spare tire.
Jeep still handles great and rides softer. Another big plus was that the 110 kmh vibration I had left with the GoodYears.
STEEL BLUE 2007 06-13-2010, 04:22 PM I got Kumho 275/40/20 out back. Does anybody know if these will fit on the stock front rims too? Will the inch make alot of difference? I am asking because I have Yoko Parada Spec-x up front(255/45/20) and with this combination the wheels are turning different speeds. the Kumho's dia. is 28.7" and the Yoko's are 29.1. My dealership is blaming transfer case problems on this difference. I figure if I can run the same tire at all 4 corners this problem(?) should be solved. I am just wondering if there is any clearance issues with the 275's up front.

275s fit no problem in the front. even if you are lowered. the tire size difference is probably causing your problem.
if you ran a 274/40 in the front and a 315/35 in the rear for example the tire size difference is only 2 hundreds which is minimal. 4 tenths makes a big difference and will freak the transfer case out.
camuman 10-11-2010, 07:20 PM when my stockers wear out you bet your ass i am going away from run flats. protip, just have a plug kit, dc air compressor, and your ready for most problems. anything worse just have AAA.
warp2 10-14-2010, 12:10 AM I had to replace the two fromts at 23K due to inside edge wear, had a steel belt protruding. Alignment was in specs. Jeep said seeya. I contacted Goodyear Customer Assistance, They were nice people to work with. They worked with my local Goodyear dealer and got me two new ones. The rest of the two tires had 9/32 left, so i only had to pay the difference between that and 11/32, which is the new tread depth.
Oh6Srtjeep 10-14-2010, 06:04 AM I replaced my stock run flats to the 275/315 Nitto invo combo and love them. The looks the ride all the way around. When i get a flat ill worry about it at the time. i still have my 2 stock rear tires and one front soo if need be ill get one put on to get the jeep home.
DJMightyMouse 10-20-2010, 09:22 PM I'm starting to see some belt on the outside of my driver's side front tire, the Goodyears of course. So I began pricing the 420's but with the weather getting colder I might lean towards an all-season.

If your seeing belts, it's too late. You better change the tires asap or risk serious consequences....

Sick, eh?
And I had my 5 month old riding with me when I noticed
WestPalmBeachSRT8 12-08-2010, 10:10 PM 3X.. Had my front runflat go from 'not looking too bad' on the inside edge... to 'completely falling apart' just like above pictures in a few hundred miles. Disgusting.
One of the best mods to my Jeep = 265/295 BFG KDWIIs... Great tire, great price, and fills in the wheel well without lowering. MUCH better ride and better performance. And no sidewall ribs to hold and splatter tire wet. Have had NO problems with tire wet dressing covering the side of the Jeep with these..
PLUS I just ran a best 1/4 at 12.69... (yeah better DA by a bit)... but the tires certainly didn't slow me down.
CanuckGCSRT8 12-15-2010, 09:20 PM Stockers still hanging in at 25K miles. I will be going with either the Toyo Proxes or the Nitto 420S when the time comes.
bean's srt 12-16-2010, 06:33 PM I am changing the run flats. Thinking about going 275/315 combo. Can anybody tell me if the rear tires stick out from under the rear fenders? Is there a clearance issue if it is lowered?
k4u2luz2 12-19-2010, 06:29 AM Quick update: We have about 14K miles on our Nitto 420s tires and they are great. Havent had any issues with them in any weather. Last weekend I drove 5 hours in our Michigan/midwest snow and ice and they were great.
On a performance note I took the Jeep to the dragstrip and ripped off 1.7X 60' times consistenly while running 13.2's.
Could not be happier they are perfect. I love Nittos, great performance, great value. I put them on all my cars as soon as the OEM's go.
Masari.Jones 01-03-2011, 01:40 AM My RAM SRT10 has All Season Pirelli Scorpions and I love those tires. They feel great and grippy on the road, the ride quality is really good. It would be nice to be able to try them on the Jeep.
SRTZILLA06 02-28-2011, 07:27 PM i bought my jeep with the nitto 420s on it. great wear rating i know that. 30k miles on em and they are still going strong
Nick_srt8 04-07-2011, 12:33 AM i actually just bought some verdestein sessantas for the rear 315/35 and in the front i have hankook ventus v12 evo 245/45 and it feels waaaaaay better
^ you have 245's in the front and 315's in the rear?
Isn't it supposed to be 274 front 315 rear?
I would be careful messing w/ that stuff. You can blow a TC in no time...
^ I cant edit my last post...
But I meant to say.
Isnt it supposed to be 275 front 315 rear?
SRT8_F 05-18-2011, 08:17 AM I've had the Continental extreme contact 275F/315R on for about 8 months now in NYC, still look new. Daily driven about 100+ miles a week. NYC got hit hard this winter with snow (they worked great) and now this spring with rain (still working great). IMO
rstoecke 05-18-2011, 08:27 AM +1 to the run flats going to crap in a short amount of time, biggest rubber turd I've ever owned. Switched to Nittos, love em.
nyjoed 06-21-2011, 02:54 PM went to vreds. runflats are a little heavey not that there i s HUGE DIFFERENCE IN WEIGHT BUT HELPS.
ELGOLD 06-21-2011, 07:34 PM Nitto's work wonders for me. The drive with runflats was just awful. Felt like driving a 1970's cruiser with a bad alignment. Now great feedback and smooth as silk on the highway. I don't think anyone is impressed with the stock run flats, Jeep should have done away with them long ago. As for the repair issue, I will keep a can of sealant in the truck and renew my CAA/AAA membership. I kept the run flats so that when I sell it the vehicle will qualify for a safety inspection without a spare.
srt812 07-26-2011, 02:00 AM its weird, before the whole 2012 srt8 deal i had about a dozen srt8 rims and tires come through chicago with mchelins on them that were headed to detroit. its seemed as if they were going to use them on the 2012 by the size difference but i couldnt be sure. the rims were blacked out but were defenitly the rims of a jeep grand cherokee srt8. the michelin seem to be a better tire than the good year but so far the good years have been good
tlmedia 01-15-2012, 04:04 PM Thanks to the advice in this forum, I switched to the Nitto 420s, and love the ride.
Does anyone know the law in NY about inspections? Do I need to have a spare?
I switched form the stock run-flats because in the rain they were like driving on ice! Now using V-REDS...not as good dry, but light years better in the rain. How will I deal with a flat? I joined AAA.
viperron 04-16-2012, 02:36 PM I went with Nitto's and really like them, I also bought a set of 18" rims and blizzaks for winter and use one of them for a spare that I carry, kind of a pain but I hate run flats.
