The knife for surgery hahaha. But seriously, the parts I ordered three and a half weeks ago , finally arrived this Monday night. So yesterday I dropped my jeep off at the shop to get the Heads/Cam/Ported Intake Manifold installed. After the installation, my jeep will be put on a dyno to get the numbers. I believe the guy said he was going to dyno it before the installation as well to see the results, but I am not positive about that. Regardless, I will have dyno results for the after setup. I am picking the jeep up Friday so I should be able to post the results then.

On another note, this weekend I am traveling to Chicago for a tournament. Originally I had planned to ride up there with a few other memebers on my team. But, I am seriously considering just driving my jeep up because what better a way to try out the new setup then a road trip :D?

Anyways thats all for now, just wanted to give you all the heads up because I am very excited about my future setup and I cant wait to see the numbers!!!

Hope you will be happy with the results of the surgery. Good luck & I'm sure it will be a SPEEDY recovery.

Yeah, I guess when I first placed my order, I didn't fully understand the free install of headers if your installing heads as well. On top of that, I couldn't afford to throw down another 1G as I was already spending just about 3Gs and install will be around 1.5Gs. But as stupid as this is, I will certainly buy headers and have them installed in the near future.

Yeah thanks again Paulo I really appreciate your advice and you trying to help me out. I was actually just about to cancel the intake and switch it to headers but I felt too bad about cancelling it because Inertia had already started porting an intake for me. But don't worry, I will be buying Kooks headers in the near future, and unfortunately spending more money for another install :o. While it may not be the most economical means, I will still get it done.

Oh ok... I gotcha. You could of considered the OBX headers that a couple guys have gotten and they sound to be of pretty nice quality for way less $$.

Either way, it will be a very nice build !!! Cant wait to see the results

Hey Knuckles, I will for sure hit up the bars downtown Friday and Saturday night. My tournament is being held a Fenwick highschool, I don't know how close that is to you or downtown but I am definitely down to meet up with you and any other forum members who will be around.

Yeah Fenwick Highschool is on the West side of the city and its not the nicest place. I work practically in the downtown area and could meet you up on Friday night, not on Saturday night. Will PM you my number John.

Ahh....good memory! It is on Oct 9th....coming up soon! I just bought a 1997 3000GT for a daily driver Saturday (retired the Jeep to weekends....with mods coming!! lol....) and now Karen thinks cars are a higher priority then the wedding for me.

Phshshh.....yeah right! :D

Actually the wedding is still the top priority. I just saw the 1997 3000GT with only 79k, and had to jump on it. Two hours later it was mine...hahaha.

Ah my mistake, I figured you either had it already or it was coming up soon! But enjoy your remaining two weeks of being unmarried haha! Nice man those things are pretty sweet and can be modded easily to be quick :D. Very nice find!

But of course it is! I'm sure its going to be a blast, I always love weddings!

LOL, I went with heads/cam, P&P intake and 90mm TB from another vendor. Tuning by Johan as always. I had a cam only before so the before and after will be much more noticable for you then me. I'm very familar with the inertia group of goodies, built some very fast LX's. Glad to see the jeep guys getting on board with them. I must say though... 1500 for install is pretty pricey, glad I have my own installer.

Oh dang thats a nice build as well! Tell me how you like the 90mm TB I considered buying one as well. If you notice significant gains from it that might in my next round of modifications. Yeah I can't wait to feel the difference :D! Well its around $1,200 for the install, and then dynoing on top of that. So while its a lot of money, I have heard its an average price for this type of work. Haha why don't you just send your installer this way :p

Well I have bad news guys. So today I got a call around noon from the shop that is doing my install. Immediately I knew something was wrong, just got one of those feelings. Anyways the guy called to tell me that the heads were missing . I asked him if he was sure several times because Inertia had told me they shipped everything. Well I finally got on the phone with my rep from Inertia and found out that they just forgot to ship the heads ! I have already waited a long 1 month for these products and then this, ugh. Am I stupid for not checking the boxes myself, yes. But to my credit, I recieved the last box Monday, in which I was told had everything else. So in stead of checking it, I just rushed all the boxes over to the shop. The worst part about this is that my car has been at the shop since Monday, because I could get help to take me there then, and now I might as well just leave it there until I recieve the heads . So the heads will be shipped out tomorrow, and Inertia is paying for overnighting them, so hopefully I will have them by Monday. I know this isn't a serious problem or life threatening etc. but it definitely caused my day to be miserable.

So, I guess the results will have to wait until mid next week.
