: Shops in MA
SRT8 Q8 09-23-2010, 01:47 AM Hey guys,
just a quick question for you guys in Mass, does anyone know where a good shop for me to take so that I can throw on the exhausts and other stuff.
Thanks,
MMGCSRT8 09-23-2010, 05:51 AM Where abouts in MA are you? What other parts do you have to install? Is it just a cat back or headers and cat back? I replaced my cat back in my driveway with the Jeep up an jackstands. I agree it is much easier in a shop with a lift, but I couldn't wait anymore.

I'm in the Watertown/Waltham area, but anything near Boston is good to me. Yeah I know what you mean, my exhausts should be coming in in two or three days so if I don't find a place looks like I am gonna do it right here :p.

StangSlayerMA 09-23-2010, 10:41 PM My friend owns an exhaust shop here in Billerica where I live. About 20 minutes from you. He installed my Borla system for me.
StangSlayerMA 09-23-2010, 10:46 PM Now that I think about it, he installed my Bwoody springs, sway bar links, Addco sway bars, R1 rotors and Hawk pads too.

Also, Accurate Automotive in Burlington MA is great for tire mounting. They have a brand new $30,000 tire mounting machine, and they don't care who you buy the tires from. They also have a StarScan computer, so I may use them in the future for repairs. When I was there a few weeks ago getting my tires mounted, there was another SRT8 Jeep there getting engine repairs done. Apparently the guy broke a valve spring in his bone stock 07 at 65,000 miles, did quite a bit of damage to the engine. So they have some experience with our Jeeps, but they have no experience with Jeep SRT8 performance parts.
ESP (Enhanced Street Performance) in Sterling MA is the most knowledgeable and equipped by far. They have an AWD Mustand dyno. Labor rate is $80 per hour. They can do anything. They did my Tq converter, stage 2 valve body, ported intake manifold and Throttle body. Bill from Paramount has been recommending them for installs of their products, and the core charges are usually waived when they install (allways check with Bill first though). My Jeep is going there again Monday for Nitrous install and dyno runs, and my dad's 62 vette is getting trailered there Monday as well to repair an oil leak.
They are a bit out of the way, I drive 45 minutes to go there, and have Enterprise rent a car pick me up at their shop when I need to leave it. From Waltham/Watertown area, you can shoot straight out rt2, it wouldn't be too bad of a ride.

Pretty good. It was a different tone due to the high revving 3.2L Yamaha engine they came with but sounded good to me.
