I just got my parts in to put my new bumper on.The bumper is painted and ready to go,but I ordered the wrong part that I thought were the steel support rods that go under the left and right side of the bumper.I threw mine away since they were twisted like pretzels.
I have access to material to make a set up.I was gonna use 1" wide steel flat bar.

What I need is the specs for them. The overall length, width and distance from center to center of the holes, diameter of the holes. If anyone can help me with this I would really really appreciate it!I don't wanna wait another week to get them in and they are gonna cost me almost another $100 shipped.

In closing,do NOT trust just anyone to drive your rig.I had to learn the hard way. :boohoo:

Also, they both look to be the identical correct?
Part number #5030620AA

Yes they are the same- I made some a while back out of hardened steel as well and it fits great. The bumper was in place and I just went under for a measurement. Cut it, filed all edges smooth, drilled holes then painted them black - hardware was painted with a body match paint after insatllation- about an hours work

Ah cool good to hear it works. The problem is that where they mount to the bumper,it was ripped clean off,so getting a measurement myself is not possible. How thick was the material you used?

Its about 1/8 or 3/16 max-flat hardened metal stock... by 1"-1 1/4". It is super hard material that was very hard to cut with a hacksaw but turned out really well after filing and painting. I remember putting it in a vise and bending it to get the perfect angle for attaching it- Sold that Jeep was an '07. think I still have some of that metal in my garage...
