The rear brake TSB is a success so far. No more squeal or noise of any kind. So should I bed the brakes or let them be? I'm so glad to not have squeal that I'm concerned about messing with em. Thanks.

I never had to bed my factory pads... if they aren't broke... don't fix em :)

Just my 2 cents, but here ya go. Dave Z is unquestionably one of the most respected guys regarding brake knowledge on many forums. It is not really a question of not being "broken". I have done this on many cars when new, and after pad and or rotor replacement, and I believe in it. Some good info in link.

In my case, Jeep gave me new rotors (front only) and a full set of pads front and rear well after one year and 12,000 miles. (threw pads in the garage). They also installed my Centric Posi-quiets all around, and the two new rotors under waranty. Never had a squeal with stock, but rotors in front were grooved. Great dealer.

Bedded em in twice (due to fact I had two old and two new rotors) and have not had one squeal, and rotors are perfect after several thousand miles. No grooving with Centrics, hardly any dust. To me it is not an issue, but there is a difference in initial bite and pedal pressure from the stocks. I drive it hard, but no tracking.

To each his own, but regardless, good reading.

I'd say bed the new pads. I'm with "Teda" on this. Dave Z. will tell you the same as well. It may not make a difference on the squeal issue, but it should improve the braking performance.

Thanks for the feedback everyone and laugh (Mango). One more question: do I need to wait until the new pads have a certain number of miles on them before bedding?
