your little LIMP mode too!
About 3 weeks I looked down at my shifter assembly and notice a neat little piece of grey ash lying on my assembly. Apparently it wasn't grey when it landed because there was a nice burn mark when I brushed it away. You cant begin to understand how hard it was to see and not stare at since.
Well yesterday the check engine light came on and I headed to the dealership to get it checked. Pulled off to take a call and when I tried to get going, LIMP MODE. You know the grin the Grinch gets, I went from that to all teeth the entire way. Banda bing, bada boom "we have your shifter assembly ordered, I believe she'll be ok to drive tonight."(tonight?!?)
7:56 AM "Mr. Escham, we have your part, just swing by and we'll install it." Took them 1.5 hours to do which left me plenty of time to look over the new GC, which looks great. They even left the little plastic cover over the shifter. So firm, so shiney, a shifter-sized, new leather smell air freshner
