I went to test drive a SRT8 Jeep today. I really liked the truck but had a question about the drivers seat. There is a metal bar on the outside seat bolster (seat bottom close to door) that pushes into the back of my leg. Have any other larger drivers had this problem? I can get past having to fold myself up to get in the thing but the seats a real problem. I drove one of the jeeps at the SRT experence but guess I was not in the seat enough to notice that problem then. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I had the hard foam on both seat bolsters cushion changed to softer foam, the seat is much more confortable now, to me anyway

I went back and really looked at the seat today. I think I can remove the bar as it really serves no structural prupose to the seat. I did the same thing in a Lightning a few years back. But Dealer was way off of there price so now I am back to looking.

Find the best car seat guy in your area, mine cost me $150, but LX cars already have softer bolster foam than the Jeep, from those I tried anyway.
