: Issue with order from GSM

I would like to bring to my fellow members attention the situation I find myself in with an order from GSM. You may wish to take this into consideration if you plan on doing business with them. Please excuse the incoming wall of text but I felt it important to present the facts.

I ordered a GSM Ram Air Cold air Jeep SRT8 Intake on May 12 online. I received two confirmation emails indicating the processing of my order.

I checked in on 5/22 to see if they had shipped it. I received an email from their sales area stating that they had no record of my order. I thought "no big deal it happens" so I sent them a copy of the emails. They said they would ship it Fed Ex 2 day for the inconvenience, I even received a tracking number.

As of today, the tracking info indicates that the package has not been delivered to Fed Ex.

I have called and emailed GSM and still waiting for a response.

Pretty sure there is a member on here selling a used GSM intake for $75. You should cancel your order and buy it.

Agree with the other post.....cancel it and buy elsewhere.

Had exact same problem, as many others. "supposed" tracking number was generated, but it was two weeks until they actually handed it over for shippping. I got more excuses than you. Then I was accused of being "hostile" when I questioned their "promises" and told them my BS meter was pegged, and I was tired of, Ryan I believe, calling me "my friend".

And I was not the only one to receive with no instructions when I finally did get it.

Worst service from any vendor on this forum. Sorry for the rant, but that is my experience with them. Others may feel differently, or had better experiences, but for me it was a very unprofessionally conducted transaction on their part.

You might want to search Volant also. Good luck.

It's amazing how many posts you see from customers of GSM complaining about not getting manuals, or manuals that are poorly written. I mean, c'mon, can it be that difficult to double-check each order to make sure that it has a manual as well as ALL the parts? Something so simple, yet something that causes customers so much grief and hassle. Do they care? Of course not, otherwise it wouldn't keep happening over and over and over.

Giving people tracking numbers for products not actually shipped the same day also seems to be a common (and inexcusable) occurance. From what I have seen on various message boards over the years, GSM gathers more complaints than all of the other vendors combined, x100. Their customer service (if you want to call it that) has to be the worst I have ever seen from an aftermarket "performance" (also a stretch) company.

Incredible, Why do we keep them as a site sponsored /approved vendor? I suggest we periodically run a poll on the site approved vendors, identifying who we should stay away from.

Thanks

PLEASE do not take this the wrong way. I can see you have relatively few posts here. I also hope that you can still back out of the purchase should you choose to do so.

However, if you had only typed in...GSM service....in the search box you might have saved yourself some aggrevation. Particularly regarding the intake. Read a few of these, and remember that there is a wealth of info to be found by searching. I truly hope it all works out well for you.
