Has anyone used these before on the SRT-8 stereo yet?

Since it is looking like I may have to use the factory RER unit in the 09' SRT (I believe option 2 required a factory HU) I was looking into line converters so that I could still put in an after market stereo.

CL-SSI

It can do either a 2-way or 3-way input. Not sure which to use though. I think the factory has only a full range (rears and front doors) and a HP (dash). Since we don't have a factory subwoofer I don't think there is a LP signal. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It takes the signal from the CL-SSI and gives you two sets of outputs (front and rear) at 8 volts :) You also get one AUX input. From reading the manual, it is unclear to me if you have to use the volume knob that comes with the CL441dsp to always adjust your stereo volume. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks to Milous, from looking at the amplifier pin-outs found here http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_audio_pinouts.htm it seems easy enough to find the appropriate wires. One question though. The JL units require an ACC power source. Could you use the CAN B BUS (Orange/White) wire for this?

Thanks in advance for the help!

edit:
After reading more on the forums, there are some that have used this. On the OC forum, someone suggested that you only use the rear signal. Does that mean that you don't need the CL-SSI? Would you just tap the rear L and R channels twice using the harness that comes with the CL441dsp?

Yes, it works good.
I can send you a sheet with all the colors and wires to connect it to a cleansweep.

What's the best way to install one of these? Looked all over, several WK forums, and while many folks claim to be running one (or both) of these units, I can't seem to find any write-ups or pix. Any help would be appreciated!

TIA!
