I just logged back in and my inbox went from 93% full to 100% without receiving or sending any new pm's. I proceeded to clear around 40 old pm's and it still reads 100% full......whats up?

Anybody have this happen?

Same thing here Dave. :mad: Maybe the forum is exceeding its storage capacity, and the # of PM's had to drop as a result... so that server space could be freed up. Would have been nice to have seen some sort of warning or advance notice, though. Or at the risk of being banned, I could also go out on a limb and say that it's some clever tactic that the administrators have devised to "persuade" existing members to upgrade their memberships?

Just had a look at the settings and it was 50 for the registered member user group. Don't know what it was before, but I upped it to 100. Pretty generous if you ask me. Premium Members get 500 PM's. I belong to one site that has a 4 PM max.

We don't pressure anyone to become Premium Members here and we don't hide any forums to any user group including guests. This site is totally free for all, no secret forums, wide open and there never was any form of pressure. The only forum a regular member can't see is the Premium Member area and anyone who is a Premium Member knows full well it's never used.
