As others stated. now she's smoother and a bit quicker. I have noticed that the tranny now downshifts when she's supposed to, a big plus. Also, at idle, she's a little smoother. I'll keep my eye on improved fuel consumption.

What is your average fuel consumption now? I have 900 miles on mine and I am getting 12 mpg average.

I hope my gas keeps going up. I'm running Shell 93 and I'm rocking 14.5mpg, with 1,200 miles on my 07 Jeep SRT8.

Mine is going down the last few months. Averaging 11.9-12.2. Was 12.5-13.2. Maybe cause I'm using the AC again. Who cares anyway?

I have the a/c 99% of the time on...getting your old 12.5-13.2. Not bad but you're right...who cares... a mile less, a mile more....whatever.:D

As far as the 3k mile "mark" is concerned, any noticeable changes are nothing more than a coincidence as there are no programming changes tied to a specific mileage number.

Exact same thing here, went from 13.2 to 12.2 due to AC.

This was covered on an SRT chat session. The engineers confirmed that there is nothing magical about the 3000 mark.

Yeah, this is a really old thread too that should not have been brought back to life.
wow mine is averaging 14.7 now mostly in town back roads too.
