I have a 2007 and at lower speeds and off the line i get a hissing sound from the engine bay. its been like that since day one. the previous owner installed a Mopar air intake but I'm not sure if that is the reason or if other mods were done. I'm not that great with recognizing mods so does anyone have an idea what the noise is? it almost sounds like a turbo or supercharger hiss but I'm positive i don't have one of those. thanks for your help!

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak.

You should pop the hood and try and locate the sound. Is the noise completely gone when you are in idle?

Try to pin point where its coming from? fire wall (L) or (R) radiator (L) or (R) or fenders (L) or (R)...at least giving us an idea of the area so we can help you more.

yes it is completely gone in idle. i will try to locate it and be more specific. thanks for your response!
