Hey guys im new , so Hi!

When i 1st saw this SUV , i was like whattt ? 0-60 in 4.9 thats seriously quick man!

then i saw the price , whoa its not cheap either .

i havent personally driven one . id like to hear comments and reviews to what they are actually like driving and owning . such as being maintained and so on?

Whats the fuel consumption like? and while its not really an off roader , how would it do off the road , if more suited wheels were fitted ?

ideally if i need to tow something or other it needs to do it with easy . i dont think the 420hp engine would have a problem :D

so why did you guys buy the Jeep SRT8 ?

its strange that with factory specs they running high fours , but we had a local Car mag do a test on it and it managed mid 6's? could be a ****ty driver tho .

are the low 4's all power brake launches?

Probably tested the 5.7. The SRT8 runs quickest just mashing the throttle.

As far as offroad, you'd want to replace the low front fascia and fit different wheels and tires. Then it will handle like any other AWD SUV. If you're just talking about dirt roads you should be fine if you're willing to risk dinging up the wheels.

yeah i guess , i just need to be able to tow the quads behind it , and if i may need to go through a little bit of sand , its needs to be able to cope with it

According to the computer I get ~13.5 mpg with a bit of local and some hwy and the not that rare mash the go pedal thrown in.

Autoweek has a long termer and they are getting a 17 mpg HWY

As for towing, you can tow so long as you get yourself a hitch package. Curt makes one that is a class I or II and will tow up to 2,000 lbs. Or you can go the other route and have a Class III either custom made for cleaner look, or mount the factory Grand Cherokee hitch and notch out the rear bumper cover. This will allow you to tow at least 3,500 lbs (rated by DCX) but likely more if you need.

I also get about 12.5 mpg combined. Maybe 15 on the highway. No one will tell you this thing is good on gas.
