Congrats, I just passed mine as well.

Kooks to straight pipes think it was legit? ;)

Thanks guys. And when I got back from the garage, I turned the key on to put in my regular tune and the cel light started blinking after about 15 seconds....So, I dont think light solid, light blinking method works to see if it is in "ready state". Maybe just on 06's or something.

Cool! You'll have to let me know your trick for when I put my catless kooks on....:D

It's funny you mention this cuz my light would blink after 15 seconds or so and that's when my jeep had the stock exhaust manifold and stick cats. I wonder if there is any other way to tell if the rear O2' s are in the Ready state besides putting the Jeep on a star scan tool?

Make friends with the garage owner......:D. He just told me to come back when I thought it was ready and he would plug it in to check. Funny thing is, I was tired of the light light blinking on the key test so I just stopped down one day. And this was with the big daddys garage antifoulers along with the fast extenders and steel wool between those 2.

Been experimenting with the Murfman foulers and the Bigg Daddy foulers and looks promising so far. I as well have tried some other steel wool in there and have extended the murf amn foulers even more. What are the Fast extenders you mention above? I also have been readiing up on this drive cycle thing and it seems that it takes a bit. So basically evry time you change tune in the Jeep you are starting from Zero again until the drive cycle has been thru it paces, which could be a few hundred miles. When I first installed the foulers I was getting a few codes and right now I am not getting any on the passenger side. The one I have to work on is the angled fouler I have in the drivers side. Did you add a small fouler to extend your angles one on the drivers side?

jose you dont have an 06 do you? thought your was a 08?

If so if you have found a way for me to buy headers i will BUY THEM RIGHT FREAKING NOW!!!

Know i will use my special mind powers on you... BE THE MAN...........

Yeah mine is an 08 bro! Still in the experimentation of things, but if I do believe its works well then I will definitely post this up. The thing here is patience my friend, which I have;)

Would definitely let you kow Dan! You see alot of guys on here buy these things and expect them to work right out of the box, and don't take the time to cusomize them to their Jeep.

It would be nice if there was no issues out of the box......but I have a hard time believing that we can't out smart the O2 sensors, LOL.

My bad, I didnt mean fast...lol.
I used murfmans prior years and have passed, steel wool was spent so i was dumb and ordered the big daddys instead of just changing the wool.....lol. The big daddys that i bought were the ones with the honeycomb like material at the end, they werent 90 degree ones, and added one (help)antifouler from autozone to each of them with steel wool in it.

On the drive cycle thing, I dont know. I have drove 160 miles, to visit my parents, with one stop and start and doing 65mph-75mph the whole way and no CEL. Start it up the next day and drive it a few miles and I would get a CEL. It would do the same on the way home.
Before I had it checked, I only drove around 50 miles and got impatient and just sayed f'it and stopped at the garage not even thinking i would pass, but i did....lol.....go figure.....

I'm up for inspection in December. My rear O2 sensors are turned off because of the 200 cell high flow cats. My midpipes are still up at Stainless Works. I plan to have my stock cats fabbed to put into place for emissions. If you have any tips I'd appreciate it? Any one with any ideas please chime in. Thanks for any input.

Oh ok got ya! Yeah i am using the Murfman ones stacked up 3 high on the passenger side and one non foulerplug with a 90* angle one on the drivers side. Plus I added my own wool to them as well as I did not think there was enough on the murfman ones. Still experimenting tho, if not I have 2 other solutions that I might try if this does not work out.

Yeah it would be nice, but thats not the case. Still crossing my fingers on this experiment.

So let me see if I got this right: The reason you get a CEL with headers or high flow cats is because the exhaust gas veloicity is altered. Is that correct? Therefore, the anti-fouler is an analog for the O2 sensor and a possible fix. So is the position of the anti-fouler in relation to the exhaust stream likewise of critical importance? Is that correct? If so, wouldn't a mod where the anti-fouler could be adjusted in or out easily be a great thing? It could be tuned for your own specific setup. Do I have this all wrong or am I understanding this stuff correctly?

I sure would like to do headers, but the emissions stuff is too onerous for me to risk it unless we have a reliable and relatively easy fix.
