I broke the connector on my wiring harness that goes to ( I believe the IAT sensor) two wires on inlet air tube. So now I have to go to Jeep and order another one. Quick question to remove the pins from the connector I have to remove the black pin on the inside front of the connector correct? that will allow the pins to be pushed out the back?

Thanks

Do I just use something like a jewelers screw driver to force the pin in the connector out? then I just have to push the pins from the front and they will slide out the back? I tried using a pin to pry the black square lock up but it wouldnt budge. will the black square plastic pin in the connector itslef come all of the way out?

You are not getting those pins out without damaging them, trust me.

how much was the kit? did you need special crimpers for the pins?

No the new kit has the pins outside the connector installed on the new wires, you actually install the wired pins into the new connector and have to butt splice the new wires onto the existing ones. Its real easy.

Its like 20 dollars.
