Just as it says, if you have not had a problem with ur jeep please chime in. I'm not talking about someone with 1k miles on theirs either.


I have had my 07 since feb. Received it with 30k miles, and now turning 38k. I have already had a check engine light come on. This is something that I'm not used to. Over the past several years I have had Mercedes (2) and not once have I had a problem with them.

I have a knock in my front end which is kinda annoying but never had a CEL besides my 02 sensors which I just turned off. (knockin on wood) Bought it with 30k now at 50k in 9 months. I drive pretty hard... all the time.

lol, I was typing with one hand and knocking on my desk with the other. To the OP, what were the CEL's that popped up?

Check engine light (CEL) can come on for silly reasons like a loose gas cap. Mine did, tightened poof no more light.

wrong gear ratio. Whatever that means. I have the factory size tires. If I heavily accelerate then it shuts down and light comes on. Limp mode? Well, I cleaned the contact strip in the gear selector box. That did not help at all.

On a side note something totally different. Every now and again I will be cruzing down the road and slowly accelerate and nothing will happen, let off the gas and then try again still no response. Try again and then the engine will respond finally.

07 w/ 46k miles, no issues to date

08 with 15k miles; Supercharger on since 12k miles.
Not a problem with engine, electronic, or any upgrade.

How do you guys have such low miles on your rigs??? I have a very late 08 made in Sept 08 and I have 37,000 miles on her problem free. Except the Crappy Goodyears but that's everyones problem. LOVE my Vreds!!

im gonna chime in anyway.lol. 4,100 miles on my rig. not a daily driver. no problems here rerally.. had a clunk/knock from under the truck one day from hitting the gas kinda hard while turning. any one know what it might have been?? kinda ignored it. nothing really came of it either. truck is a dream. figured i was just giving it too much gas on a turn. it is a 500lb truck.lol. also have a slight leak from the t-stat housing area. gonna go back to the stock gasket to fix the problem(thanks wade) itherwise nothing here as far as issues go..

'06 with 43,000 ,no problems at all.

I traded in my 06 Charger SRT-8 for my Jeep and had no major issues with it. 55k miles on it...

Okay, so yesterday I saw this post, read it and decided not to chime in. Have a 07 for about a year now.put allmost 14000 miles since I got it. Milage is now 35890 miles never a problem. so this morning I go out to the rig start her up n WTF I got a engine light. Cant frikkin believe it, do yourself a favor and not chime in.

72K on mine...... I haven't had too many issues at all really. Alternator, a few batteries, water pump is about to be replaced, and that's about it. The first 2 were related to my stereo system. She's been more reliable than my 04 F-250 Diesel that's for sure!

Oh, wait, that's just the manifestation of the chronic disease we all share....nothing wrong with the beast at 6.5k.

2006 50k mi over the last 4+ years and nothing major that my dealer and the manufacturer haven't been able to successfully remedy in a timely fashion. Can't say that about my last vehicle, which was an RS6.

one problem everyone seems to have is break squeel....to me if army tanks & bull dozers break from time to time,then our rigs are sure to have its problems too.as well as any car or truck! nothing serious to report from my end.

:lol: My engine light came on today when I started it.

It is the cold start code, and I'm sure it is because my jeep has been sitting for nearly a month and has only been started once.
