I need to get another tune before I go racing again. The 3600 Yank and new trans will be in before the F5 cam is in. The sig is a bit premature as all the parts are not installed yet. The cam I have now is too big for the 4800# brick, and that is why I am going down to the F5. The current cam is a 238/242, .605/.610 Comp cam. It is great up high, but not enough TQ down low where we need it. The TC and trans go in next week and I will run it with that to see where I am at, then the cam goes in and another tune session. I have all the parts, just need to find time to install them. OneBadJeep 02-14-2008, 11:55 AM Who did you tranny, Rock on? That cam is way to big for the amount of torque needed for your weight... Im basically stock so im not going to run it at Ennis but we can run on the street for fun and make some good vids. I don't want to goose up my SRT because it will be sold for the new CTSV.... MikeG 02-14-2008, 12:20 PM The tranny was built by a local guy here that is the father of one of the TBSS guys. He has been building trannys for over 20+ years. It is using all the high end parts similar to an RPM and has hardened input/output shafts. Black Sheep 02-25-2008, 05:27 AM Mike, did you get the trans put in yet?? I will be at Ennis on Friday to see if we can pull an 11.5 out of this thing.. It kept bangin' the rev limiter on all the runs on sat.. She will do 11.5, I'm confident. Any Jeep guys going out??
