I know this has probably been discussed but i cant find it in a search. Why is the jeep rated lower than the other SRT8s?

If I remember right it has something to do with the intake/exhaust.

I think it has to do with the stock shorty headers.

That is correct. I asked this question before and the srt group said it was because we have different headers than the other srt's

If you look under your jeep, you will find that after your exhaust manifolds the pipes literally twist around each other. Not the best flow of exhaust in my opinion. I think that is also why replacing our stocks with aftermarket headers increases our hp so much.

How much does the hp increase with aftermarket headers?

LOL, please show me some before and after graphs of a header swap. I'd like to see the gains. IMO a header swap should be for sound improvement only. What longtubes may do is lean out the A/F a bit. Making slightly more power but slight is the key word. MOst of these cars run a touch rich under factory settings.

You seriously don't believe headers gain horsepower? That is completely laughable in itself. Now as far as the power being worth the work involved, my vote is no, but that's an opinion. Might as well do heads at the same time, so might as well do a cam, so might as well put a stroker in. No reason not to hang a turbo off head side then either.

Now that that is taken care of, please explain how headers will lean out your A/F ratio. Also, what is "rich" to you? Because I was always under the impression it depends on the engine and its specific output and heat transfer from the pistons. In which case, our's could stand to run a touch more lean than others at WOT.
