This winter I was having serious issues with the tires holding air below zero and the dealership had to remove the wheels and replace the valves to fix it. Fast forward to this summer and while I am giving the jeep a good wash I noticed that the Brembo brake on the passenger side has a larger chip in the paint on the caliper bolt and a smaller on below it. See picture and tell me what you would do.
edit: In typing this I made up my mind I am going to talk to the service manager about it since the mechanic had to know he did it and kept quite about it.

i would say good luck, if you noticed it right away they might help you out but its nearly the end of summer

Check the inside of the wheel for a slight hit, if you picked up and threw some gravel around on the inside it may of left evidence.

I agree with most, it's going to be hard to prove they did it. And if you get them to do something about it, all they would do is touch it up. It's not like they're going to paint and finish the whole caliper.

Get some touch up paint, fix it right up, btwn the winter and now i think your SOL, but they should still take care if it if they value your business. But we all know how that plays out. GL Bro

+1 on that. I think i have a small nick in one of mine in the exact spot. I believe it could of been a stray little rock etc.

Some PRN Viper Red touch up will match it pretty close.
My Challenger got a chip just like and it was not from the wheel being taken off because it had not been.

I would have noticed that my jeep just didn't "feel right" before I even got home lol. How did you not notice this before? Good luck at the dealer.

Well I am going to ask them and see what they say. Hopefully I will be surprised but if not I will touch it up. I will reply once I get out to see them.
My Jeep is still basically new.. Only had it 11 months now and did not notice it till I hand washed it awhile ago. Normally I do a complete inspection whenever a car is in for service but it was about -20* that whole week so I didn't look that close... lesson learned.

I agree with everyone else, it'll be hard to prove. Mine came with a bunch of chips and even mismatched cover up paint on the Brembos.
