Hey guys,
Anyone know where I can get a 6.1 Hemi SRT engine?
What should I be paying for this?
I will be returning it as a core and keeping my engine (a spare possibly).

Thanks!

Would have it delivered tomorrow if it were used (and less costly).
Hate to turn in a new engine for a core.
Thanks for the info so far!

Need to get a core back to the engine builder.
My new engine is currently disassembled at ASM for the new crank tone wheel and user programmable electronics.
My current engine is being driven daily.

Damn thing is getting more complex by the minute!!!!

Are you going with a stand alone system like FAST etc.? Or a piggyback system like the Unichip they are using for their superchargers? I hope it is a piggyback because otherwise your tranny might not work properly.

BTW, did you find your core yet?

The electronics I will be using are revolutionary.
It does require that my Supercharged 426 be torn back down and the crankshaft removed for a new "tone wheel" to be installed. It will piggyback into the existing PCM and will be totally USER programmable.

I believe a year from now that many of the guys that put in new lower ends or go with strokers will go with programmable electronics. However, most people with stockers are not going to drop their cranks for user programmable electronics.

I have not found a reasonable core yet. I am on vacation in France and the time difference makes it a bit tough to contact some of the people.

Bill,

We hope that the PCM is programmable by that time. If not your system will be the example for many to follow!!

I sure hope you are correct on the programmable PCM.
Like so many other things on our JGC's , it may be more difficult than it seems. VERY talented people are working on this one though!

I am waiting to see a post on how your beast runs!!!

Sounds interesting, is it a GM baised system. Would this be something that could be used on the hemi trucks?
