: New Corsa FOR FREE!
SRT8Girl12 07-26-2010, 03:40 PM I don't know if you guys remember a couple of months ago, but my catalytic converter had failed, and it shot some particles of it back into my exhaust and ruined my Corsa. I don't know how I did it, but I got the dealership to replace my exhaust for free. The entire thing. I didn't pay one cent for the whole process. So I just thought I would share, and throw up a few pictures of the exhaust for proof :p It's not like you guy haven't see this exhaust before, but oh well. Also, here is a picture of how she sits right now. Be jealous, cause I just saved $1200! :D
By the way, all pictures we taken with an iPhone 4 :)

Wintermute 07-26-2010, 03:43 PM Mopar makes Corsa?
silvrsrt8 07-26-2010, 03:49 PM How did the dealership pay for an aftermarket part? Did they admit that the stock cat was faulty and gave you the cash because your exhaust was ruined due to their part?
If so dam, if my air conditioner knob breaks my Jeep dealership will tell me it's because of my air intake their so bad and make me pay.
That's an exaggeration but you get my point.
SRT8Girl12 07-26-2010, 03:55 PM No I didn't see any cash. They ordered the part from Mopar, just like you would any dealership, because Mopar is a part of Chrysler. They got it in, installed it, and I was on my way. They said since the "chrysler part" damaged the "mopar part", Chrysler had to pay. Trust me, I am in shock too. I did talk cars with my service advisor for a long time, so maybe he liked me, I don't know...
Mopar makes Corsa?
Yep, sort of, but its the other way around.
Corsa makes the Mopar exhaust- they are the same just different etching on the tips- I have the Mopar tips too
WBSRT 07-26-2010, 04:09 PM Thats Great Tamara.
So what happened to the old exhaust?
SRT8Girl12 07-26-2010, 04:39 PM They threw it out. Trust me, it was crap. It rattled the entire inside of the cabin, and made a crazy amount of rattling on the outside too. It was bad.
Smok1n 07-26-2010, 04:41 PM Sweet deal... What dealership was it (Walnut Creek or Hilltop)? Just curious in case something goes bad with my ride..
SRT8Girl12 07-26-2010, 04:52 PM Hilltop man! I couldn't believe it. WC probably would have told me to go jump off a bridge...Haha. Talk to Francis, he was my service advisor.
silvrsrt8 07-26-2010, 05:04 PM Must be nice to have cool people working at your dealership.
QuickOne 07-26-2010, 05:24 PM All it needs is a nice set of 5" tips! ;)
