I missed not doing this for 2010, So thought I would bring it back for 2011 !!!
I'm starting nice and early this year to ensure we have alot of good submissions.

THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF THE ENTRIES. Please reference all entries by post# in the submissions fourm. We want to try to keep the submission thread to pictures only - keep the clutter in this thread!

The deadline for submissions will be November 7th, 2010 EXTENDED UNTIL NOV 9th AT MIDNIGHT

Planned release December 1st, 2010

Professional photos are allowed and encouraged!

RULES:

1) ONE SUBMISSION EACH:I will be making a submissions ONLY thread, please only post your submission in that thread! If you want to change your submission before the deadline, edit your existing post and replace the picture with your new one!!

2) HIGH QUALITY PICS ONLY: No posting of low res, shoddy pictures you had on your computer for 3 years. Post and KEEP ON YOUR COMPUTER your high res submission. When the times come to print, I will be emailing you for your HIGH RES PIC. If you do not have it, you will not be in the calendar.

3) NO PHOTOSHOP: Except to adjust/tweak color - must be original picture not rendered in any way by any photo editing program except color adjust.

4) JEEP SRT8's ONLY: Make sure the entire Jeep is in frame, and there are no other people or cars. Engine shots allowed and encouraged

6) cover submissions will be allowed as a second picture and may be photochoped but must be posted in the Calendar Cover submissions ONLY thread!!

Noteworthy points:
- Allow lots of room around the jeep for cropping purposes.
- Set your camera to its highest res possible!!
- Please use your fourm user name as the image naem ex: squigmang.jpeg

Absoutley! A Heavily modded jeep will have no better chance of being in the calender than a bone stock jeep.
It all depends on the quality, creativity, and originality of the picture.
For example for december, a snowy picture with a red jeep in a christmas tree farm would be great.

Also, I take bribes, so it you want to send about $100 (not limited) my way with paypal, it will up your chances!! :eek:

Hey Im pretty sure I posted the best of the 3 professional pics I had done while out driving one day WAAAYYYYY back when the jeep was stock body wise but just to make sure any thoughts on these..thanks

I dont recall whose picture it was but my favorite is with the jeep in downtown NYC, Brooklyn or Chicago not sure but the background is nothing but grafitti but very tasteful IDK I love that picture I think the jeep is black.

you can submit a pic to the calendar cover thread, and the regular submission for inside the calendar.

I was thinking along the same lines, it would be great if we could get a good quality pic of a bunch of jeeps for the cover - different years and colors.

I posted 1 pic, im going to do my best to change it and add one to the cover thread. I washed the Jeep monday and it was looking perfect and of course it rains tuesday/wednesday. Its going to be a high of 71 friday but im going to wash it again and do my best to get my photographer out saturday for some pics!!

The rules were meant to keep parking lot etc pics from cluttering up the thread, If it clearly a planned, good high quality picture of the engine bay or something else they are allowed.
The rules are meant to encourage planned photoshoots and quality submissions, so that everyone does not just go dig up a pic on their hard drive to submit.
