Ok guys...here it goes. I hope it is not too much to ask for a pic of a GC taken from the same vantage point I have posted. Please understand that I am trying to make a decision on the Michelin 315's for the rear and the 275 for the front of the GC......but I need help in convincing myself that the visual will be worth the $1500.00 spent.

I know the General and a couple of others have posted pics, but have yet too see one with a direct low rear stance. TIA.

Btw, the stock Goodyear 285's are exactly 11 1/4" wide and 28" tall mounted on the GC with 36 lbs pressure.

You run your GC at 36? I keep mine at 31/2'ish. The ride must be even stiffer!!!

I'll try dropping the pressure and test it out there. Thanks.

I love that "squat" photography style you have. :p

Yea when it warmed up and the weather was stable I changed my startup psi from 33 to 31 or so after being run. The difference in handling and also in how the car takes bumps between only a few psi is HUGE !

1" wider for the rear 315s probably won't show up real good in a photo, or "real life" either. It's less than 10% wider.

285 Goodyear vs 315 Michelin pic. Yes the Michelin are wider but the rounded shoulder did not make them look as wide as I was hoping for, I'm back to the Goodyear untill I find a square shouldered tire that really hooks at the track.

I can definitely see the difference there, but I'm wondering how much of that visual difference would disappear once mounted.

After some of the varying opinions and pics....I'm gonna stay with the stock rubber until someone's shows me what I asked for in the "original post".....

Mounted on an SRT-8 GC with this view...then we can base the visual on an actual SRT-8 20 X 10 wheel.....Thanks.

Best I can do until tomorrow. Mine are hooking.....even on the street. One thing for sure with the Michelins...no road noise, much softer ride, better handling....less jouncing..........you wont have coffee all over the interior any more!!

These tires make the Goodyears look like Trailblazer SS Tires.....lol!
