Well, I will be installing my new Eibach springs in the near future. I have read many opinions about the bump stops. Please feel free to post your opinion here. I've read some leave the factory stops in. I've read use the ones that come with the kit but without the spacer. Etc.,etc.

I used the ones that came with the kit. And they blow. I might take them off if there no fix to my trucks ass end slamming. The ride is crap. Someone give me some ideas

I left the factory ones in. They wont let your suspension compress any further than it was meant to from the factory :)

Used the full eibach kit w/spacer on my 06 and hated the ride quality until I removed the spacer and then it rode smooth without bottoming out.

When I installed the eibach's again on my 08 I made sure to leave the spacers out from the get go. Just use the eibach cup and bumpstop.

Here is a link to my install thread w/lots of pics. Most who install the eibachs leave the spacer out from the get go or end up going back to do it.

That makes sense to me. As long as you don't bottom out alot.

Eibach stop with no spacer.

I'm running an old kit before they included the spacer so I just have the stop and a cut-down factory spacer.

+1 no spacer - good billet stock for other projects.

+2. Youll get sick of the stops that come with the kit.

Silver cap with the Eibach bumpstop and NO big silver spacer. My Jeep rides like a Cadillac now:D
