The manual says it can be fully turned off by holding the button in for five seconds while the vehicle is not moving. I cannot do this with my GC SRT8.

on the GC SRT8 version the only way you can turn ESP completly off is if you pull out the pink ( ABS PUMP ) fuse under the hood .BEWARE REMOVING THIS FUSE WILL DISABLE ALL TRACTION CONTROL AND " ABS " !!!!!!!

or check GSM website for switch that can be installed in the truck that will do the same as removing the fuse

Manual is wrong!!! Go to www.gsmotorsports.com they have the ESP/Fan mod.It is Awesome,it comes with the 180 degree thermostat and a switch to run the fan as long as you like.The second switch 100% shuts odd the ESP/traction control.Please keep in mind the this also shuts off the ABS.All in all it's a great mod.

The ESP/Fan modd switch does work and it will shut it off 100%. You will love it.
