Just posted about the Stang, well this one is even more fun but not the good feeling as with the Mustang. The wife and I were comming home from visiting my son at about 10:45 PM last night. We ran into a detour and ended up on this 4 lane Highway, 2 each way, that is 3 lanes in one direction at some areas. We were alone on the road except about a 1/4 of a mile up the road were 3 cars vieing for position and you could hear that they were Ricers. I stepped on it and caught them at a light but I was behind them. They took off, all 3 screaming like Banchees I stayed right behind them. The road narrowed back to 2 lanes, mixing us all together, at the next light I got up front and at this point the road was 3 lanes again with a 4th to make a right turn. Here I am lined up with 4 Ricers, it must have looked like something with the GCSRT8 surrounded by 3 Ricers, we are 4 abreast at this point. When the light for the traffic going across in front of us turned red I took off, bad move, our light was still Red so I got off the gas and broke hard. Then the light turned green, of the 3 only one of them could stay anywhere near close and he was then one in the cut off lane. I left off the gas and the fastest of the 3 wanted to play some more but I had to turn off. Just a fun thing not a big thing they were only Modded Ricers. Wonder what they were thinking when this 2 and a 1/2 ton Jeep put some Whoop As& on them?

Killed a brand new Camaro SS off a set of lights- he was pissed! he caught up when I slowed down and opened the window and yelling he wasnt ready and wanted to go again, I yell back I have to turn off here, he follows me. I dont really want him following me all the way to my house so I stop at a green light and get my buddy to go press the button to change the light. He pulls up beside me and I act like I didnt just crush him I say ' Nice car, is it fast?' he says yeah , I say 'we'll see' and rolled up my window. Longest light ever haha. People going the other way are wondering why we are stopped at the green. Long story short I had an even better launch and wasted him again up to about 160km/hr he was 5 cars behind- he did wave when I turned off again-respect earned!

OOO a "camaro" ss! That changes everything, haha! Great kill though 5 CL is something to be proud of vs. one of them. Could you tell if it was manual or auto? If it was a manual with a good driver it would have given u a MUCH better run for your money vs. an auto. I still am puzzled why they would have a 20hp difference on manual vs. automatic. I know the auto has AFM, but 20hp is no joke especially when the rear end ratios are 3.27 for the auto and 3.45 for the manual...

Heck I have made a GT500 look stupid from a light just b/c these cars are harder to launch on the street. And I am not the only one. Do you own a JGCSRT8? I ask b/c if you did it would eem you would know this already. Again not picking at you brother just don't agree!:)

It was manual for sure, Ive talked to a couple guys at the gym who know him. As far as good driver??? He just got the car as a grad present!! A good friend of mine- his dad just SC his new Camaro so we will try that out soon too -600+HP
