ne1 know how many miles worth of data are used to calculate this average? at some point the computer has to say "ok, i'm not gonna look back into history past x miles, since it would take too long to calculate an accurate value if i do". i'm going on a long trip and want to gauge the avg mpg on it, however i'm afraid that when i get back, i'll only have an avg of the last 500 miles or whatever the limit is, not the whole trip.

4000+ KM-16.4 litres per 100km was what I had when I sold it.

Just keep track of how many miles you drive and total gallons of gas for the trip and divide them.

No need the keep track the on board computer does it. Just reset it and check it once in a while.....or you could watch it when you pin it:D

Average MPG is, average miles per gallon and mine is 12.8 about 98% city driving. I can't get 93 in California, only 91. Unless I go to Infineon, then I can get 96 or 100, but I'm not sure if it makes much of a differance without a tuner.

I usually reset after a fill up.
Since I'm in CA, I use 91.
Total freeway, I've touched 16.5 to 17.5 (depending on usage of left foot)
usually 12.5 to 14 around town
As am added note -- after adding CAI, I think i picked up "up to" a half MPG. It is hard to really tell. Too many other factors and it is way too boring to run without WOT.;)
