Why not just get a supercharger for it??GS Motorsports has them and I heard they are AWESOME!!!! and they are a hell of alot less then 20 Grand.I think they are more like 5 and change.I think that is the way to go.I was going to do it but I didn't want to void the warranty so I had them port and polish the heads and the intake as well.

radduc, Wouldn't the work you had done void the warranty as well. You might not know it until you need it. If for some reason the work you had done damaged the engine, and Chrysler was going to repair it, they would discover the mods once they get into the engine, right? Probably an easy way out of them paying for the damage.
By the way, how much HP did it add? Is it noticeable in the seat? Any new 0-60 times?

It does not void the warranty because they are stock parts. The only way you would know if it you took off the head and measured the inside. As far as 0 to 60 times I don't know but I am going to get one of those G meter's and I am trying to get to a drag strip this weekend.the mod can add anywere from 45 to 75 HP to the rear wheels i was told.

Also chrysler did the install and charged me $1,200.00 to do it.Needless to say they said the warranty is fine. The only thing they would not cover is the heads, which is covered by GS Motorsports. So it's all good.:D

we are considering offering a bolt on kit. it wont be as cheap as a blower kit but it will make more power - especially from 3000-5000 rpm.

I wasn't even saying 20k is bad for the kit just wondering if anyone got it or has looked into it , I don't know maybe it's 30K. The bolt on kit would be without ported heads & 9:5 forged pistons im guessing which is well worth the extra "boost" and money. I have thrown over 45K into a Z06 with no end in site. Anyone what a 800HP vette for 35K , so I can get my Hennessey package and start it all over again.

We are looking into making a few turbo kits for the Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler cars and SUV's. We are looking for a test mule in a Jeep SRT8 version.

Let me know if any of you would be interested.

Thanks,
Brad
