After four years of looking at the Jeeps, I finally picked one up today. I went back and forth in '06 and ended up getting a new TBSS. It came down to the savings and aftermarket potential. I had the TBSS for a couple of years and sold it. I again looked at the Jeep but I couldn't fit our huge childseat in the backseat. I ended up buying my old SS back again.
Began looking again last month and I picked one up from a fellow forum member. We couldn't be happier with it. I look forward to having an unbiased viewpoint now owning both the Jeep and a TBSS. Now I have to start slowly modifying her.:D

I'll get some pictures over the weekend of both and post them over there. Already had the front windows tinted, and sat out in 95 degree weather pulling the Jeep emblems and polishing the exhaust tips.

I did most of the bolt ons back in 2006. It ran high 12's@104 pretty consistent. I'm targeting next spring to do H/C and a Procharger on it. Back when I was originally deciding between the two, the Jeeps didn't even have tunes out yet.

Yep, those seats cost $250 a piece and I wasn't about to put them in the basement. Its been a long 4 1/2 years watching the Jeeps before buying one.

Get a smaller childseat! One of the guys at a local track runs weekly in the brackets in his Jeep with the seat always in the back! He actually finished the season in 5th place last year!

Going to the booster seat is what allowed the purchase. I still can't figure out why the backseat is so narrow compared to the SS. I believe its 13" less?
