Anyone planning on heading up? 12:00 report showed 1055 DA at 72.5 degrees with 39% humidity and falling. Forcast says its going to be chilly tonight.
I'm not sure if I want to bring the Jeep, or the Roush. I just picked up a 08 Roush Stage 3 BlackJack edition with 12,000 miles on it. 430 hp 400 tq, #20 of 100 built in 08. Hand signed by Jack Roush on the sunvisor. The BlackJack comes equipped with the Roush underdrive blower pulley, Black 18"x10" Forged wheels with BF Goodrich G-Force KD 275/40/18, Roush big brake kit, and a polished M90 blower to name a few things that set it apart from the regular Stage 3s .
I know it won't launch as hard as the Jeep but, I'm curious what it will run before I Mod the hell out of it. I've already added a Bassani X pipe with their super high flow cats, Roush off road cat back, Powdercoated the stock roush exhaust tips black, K&N drop in filter, and Steeda G-Trac brace. I blacked out the corner lamps, tinted the windows and put LEDs everywhere too.
I have a pile of parts in my basement waiting to go on: 2.57 underdrive pulley, VMP 500 tune, JDM CAI, JBA ceramic coated stainless shorty headers, HTO spark plugs, Eaton Posi, 3.73, Moser 31 spline axles, Roush Diff cover (powdercoated black), Roush strut tower barace, BMR driveshaft loops, BMR subframe connectors, Roush Billet lower control arms, Hawk HPS brake pads, triple gauge pod with Autometer Cobalt gauges, Toyo R888 DOT road race tires, 275/40/18 front and 305/35/18 rear.

Never made it there, something came up. I'll be there Friday. It should go at least low 13. BFG KDs hook pretty good for a street tire, I have them on my Cobra. Are you a former stang owner? This Roush makes stang #3 for me. I have a 97 Cobra and a 98 Convert too.
The cobra pics are old, it now has a 6 pt cage, forged shortblock, polished intercooler kit, battery relocation kit, etc. It ran 12.2 @ 118 on street tires with the non intercooled setup on the stock motor. Then I cracked a piston and had to dump $15,000 into the motor. I still haven't gotton the car back yet. It has 47,000 miles, I've had it since 98 with 1600 miles.
The 98 is an automatic with 27,000 miles. My mother bought it in Texas when she lived down there, then I bought it off her when she moved back. I has 19" wheels, Flowmaster cat back, SCT tune, CAI, upgraded brakes, and every suspension componant from Steeda.

Nice cars! I don't have a Mustang now but I have had several. I bought new a 2003 GT and put a procharger on it with 4:10's, then bought a 2004 Mach1 new and did some nice bolt on's and 4:10's. It went 13.3. Then I bought a 2004 Competition Orange Cobra in 2005 with 2400 miles on it. I modded that and ran 11.7. Most recently was a 2008 GT I bought new and installed a JDM stroker motor, Saleen blower running 14lbs, Saleen fuel system, kooks long tubes, 4:10's with Detroit TrueTrack, QA1's with other suspension mods, on Bogart rear wheels and M/T ET street radials it went 10.66@128MPH on a 1.50 60ft.

Damn, Nice BJ!! I've had my eyes on a few, been trying to get rid of my '01 Roush and pick up a '08 BJ Convertible. Had some pretty good prices, but just can't afford the beaten on mine.

I would take them both!! :p The choice is hard, but I would say take the roush and have some fun ;)
