As some of you may know or don't know I work for a DCX dealership in the parts department. I was woundering if anyone would be interested in the new Mopar cnc-ported heads if I could get you a really good deal. Let me know!:D

I just ordered these for my Jeep SRT8 from my dealer. What's your best price? My dealer charged me $1300 a head.

It will NOT void your warrenty, IF your dealer installs them. From what I hear, they perform as good as any other aftermarket heads.

My dealer confirmed, in writing, that it will not void my warrenty.

I just got off the phone with Mopar, and he told me 20-25 h.p. on a completely stock motor,he said this is being very conservitive. He said with a cam to take advantage of the increased flow you're looking at a lot more!

Does Mopar offer an upgraded cam also?

Mango, do you plan on upgrading the cam too, or just the heads?

I'm paying roughly $2600 for both heads, and all materials needed for the install. Then the $500 for install at my dealership. They are EXCELLENT, they're having an "SRT" tech come in from another dealer just to do the install on my truck. It's like a damn special event or something haha!

It might be worth the drive down if you want to do this Tony. Top notch dealership full of gear heads.

I'm going to hit up Tune Time and do a "before" dyno run, and an "after" dyno run to get a baseline of what these heads will do for people.

You may want to wait for that. :)

^^^ As stated, the 392ci cam will not work with a stock 6.1L shortblock--piston to valve clearance issues!
